What a great way to see...

Cady_L, Oct 2026

What a great way to see the Catacombs! Thanks for taking us past a few other sites and dropping us at a convenient drop off location :-)

Response from Host, Oct 2026

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed exploring the Catacombs by golf cart and appreciated seeing some additional sites along the way. It is also great to know that the drop-off location was convenient for you. Thank you for choosing our tour and for sharing your experience.

not much for the money

Christine_H, Sep 2026

This tour pretty much just gives you a ride to the catacombs. Save Money and get there on your own. The visit to Appian Way is just a quick view of the old road, then on to the catacombs

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Dear Christine, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience did not feel like good value for you. This tour is designed to combine private transportation with several stops along the Appian Way and the Catacombs area, allowing guests to reach places that are less convenient to visit independently. The itinerary normally includes more than just transportation to the Catacombs, with stops and explanations along the ancient Appian Way and surrounding historical sites. We regret that, in your case, the Appian Way portion felt too brief and that the overall experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments are important to us, and we will review the timing and presentation of the tour with our team. Kind regards, Eternal City Tours Team

A Great Way to Get Around

Karl_B, Sep 2026

The golf cart was a great way to get from ‘downtown’ Rome to the Appian Way. And Raksim was a great guide….he answered all our questions and provided some great information.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you so much, Karl, for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed exploring the Appian Way by golf cart and had such a great experience with Raksim. We’ll be very happy to share your kind words with him. We hope to welcome you back to Rome again soon!

Fun way to visit Catacombs

Tiffany_H, Sep 2026

This was a wonderful way to see the Catacombs and part of the Appian Way. Our driver, Jacapo was a Rome native and very knowledgeable about the area. We had extra time on our tour, and he offered to take us to other sites. We requested a site that we had planned on visiting after this tour, and he took us there. This saved us so much time and walking! He dropped us off at a location convenient for us.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you so much, Tiffany, for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed discovering the Catacombs and Appian Way with Jacopo. It’s great to hear that his local knowledge and flexibility helped you make the most of your time in Rome and saved you some extra walking! We’ll be very happy to share your kind words with him.

Golf cart tour

Susan_S, Jun 2026

Due to an accident, our golf cart with Ramtin arrived 30 minutes late, but he totally made up for the delay! He is a wonderful driver and treated us to Gelato on the way back to the hotel!! The nicest guy you could ask for. The catacomb tour was good but the golf cart was the best!!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Susan, Thank you so much for your kind review! We truly appreciate your understanding regarding the unexpected delay caused by an accident. We're especially happy to hear that Ramtin made your experience memorable with his friendly service and, of course, some delicious gelato! It's wonderful to know you enjoyed the golf cart tour through the Appian Way and that it became the highlight of your day. We'll be sure to share your lovely comments with Ramtin. We hope to welcome you back to Rome for another unforgettable adventure!

Emilia was a five star guide!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Kathryn_F, Sep 2025

Emilia is a fantastic tour guide! We enjoyed the catacombs, but Emilia as our guide was the best part. She was also in communication with me and was very easy to locate for pick up. Appian Way is beautiful. I am glad we took this golf cart tour, but I can’t imagine the bike riding option…the road is extremely bumpy.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

That is wonderful to hear! Thank you for the 5-star review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 We are thrilled that you enjoyed the Jubilee 2025 Underground Rome & Appian Way: Golf Cart Experience. We agree—Emilia is a fantastic guide, and we're delighted to know she was the best part of your tour! We will certainly pass along your high praise to her. We are also glad you appreciated the beautiful Appian Way and found the golf cart tour to be the perfect way to navigate the road's bumpy terrain!
