This tour is hard to review. We were unable to go to the caves as there was a problem with the door locking so we were “upgraded” to get lunch instead.
We are 63 years old and own e-bikes and are very active. This tour went to the catacombs which was very interesting, it lasted about 45 minutes. Then we rode on the cobbled streets of the Appian Way. There are parts, quite a few where it is VERY DIFFICULT to rode. Lorenzo was great he encouraged people to walk if they did not want to ride over the cobbled stones.
Lorenzo was kind, knowledgeable and we really appreciated him.
We went on dirt paths, through narrow paths with bramble bushes and we had people fall down.
We went on busy Rome streets where Lorenzo navigated us perfectly but we had a tour on a Saturday morning with less traffic.
Lunch was nice but we did not do several of the stops promised.
While this is something we will remember we both agreed this is not something we would recommend to our friends.
The bike tires were worn, thank goodness it was not wet and thank goodness we are experienced.

What an amazing experience. Our guide was patient and loads of knowledge. We made numerous stops with him and he was able to teach us a lot throughout the day.
The bonus was actually riding in the cave, highly recommend doing that tour!

Exploring the underground labyrinth was fascinating, visiting the catacombs was a truly powerful experience, and standing on the Appian Way is simply surreal. Filippo is very knowledgeable, friendly, and cautious as to the safely of the whole group riding on this tour. We highly recommend the experience!

Very fun and different view of Rome. Ricardo (and Nico) did an excellent job. Appreciate that Ricardo was able to be flexible when the roads were closed. We enjoyed the caves a lot. Even enjoyed the rain downpour.

This was a great tour! I would recommend this tour to anyone that rides a bike WELL. You will be cycling through traffic and on bumpy cobblestones as well as rocky dirt paths. I will say that the only slight disappointment was that the description says a glass of wine is included, but we never stopped for wine.

Veronica was a wonderful guide and the tour was great. The bikes were good and no problems with operating them. A couple of mentions, it would be great if a bottle of water was provided. We brought ours so not an issue for us but the others didn't have them. The other mention is that the Viator description included wine but that was never offered. The others in the tour had booked on other sites so not certain what was promised to them. A great day otherwise.

The ebike tour was fun. Never having ridden an ebike before, I found it to be easy and fun, taking a lot of the work out of riding. The tour got a little messed up as there was a major marathon run on the same route as we started on. After a while the guide decided to do the tour backwards which got us on a different route and things went smoothly after that. It was interesting to see things outside of the hustle and bustle of Rome and it was very enjoyable.

We saw a very different rural part of Rome, which we’d never have found otherwise. The e-bikes were brilliant and made the trip very enjoyable. The caves were fascinating, the Appian way was somewhere we’d love to explore further and the catacombs were extraordinary. Our guide was brilliant - very informative and helpful and I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a different experience in Rome.

We had a FUN-Tastic, adventurous bike ride with-in the city & exiting to a peaceful park just outside the city noise. We very much enjoyed our tour guide, Alessandro! He gets 10 Stars! He was very informative & educational. He followed the rules of the road & made us feel safe through & through.
We most definitely would book this tour again! Next time we will go deeper into the labyrinth of the caves. 😁
