Wonderful tour with an experienced and knowledgeable historian. It was a very hot day and our guide made sure we were in the shade whenever possible. Great tour James Robertson was a great leader. He had a great memory and a good way to get the history of cross. Very confident and friendly. he kept a watchful look on the group slow down as necessary and have some good jokes and comments that were entertaining

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and made the experience so enjoyable. She took extra time to answer all of my questions, got to know our group, and were friendly, punctual, and engaging throughout the tour. She also gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat around the city, which we really appreciated.
This was one of my favorite tours, and our guide was a huge reason why. She truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. I highly recommend this tour!

We had an excellent experience on the 2.5 Hour Philadelphia History Tour with the Washington War Tent Show. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and took the time to thoroughly explain the history while bringing each stop to life with great stories and illustrations.
It was exciting to see America's First and Second Banks and learn about their important role in our nation's history. The highlight of the tour was the Washington War Tent Show. Hearing the story behind General Washington's actual war tent and then seeing the original tent in person was truly inspiring.
If you're visiting Philadelphia and want to gain a deeper appreciation for America's founding, I highly recommend this tour. It's informative, engaging, and well worth your time!

PJ was her guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We got lost at the last exhibit at the president house. He walked a little fast for the group. I would’ve tipped him, but I couldn’t find him.

Our tour of Philadelphia was wonderful and gave us a meaningful look at the foundations of American history. We visited Independence Hall, Franklin Court, Benjamin Franklin's grave, the first and second Bank of the United States, the meeting place of the First Continental Congress and the Museum of the American Revolution. Each stop added depth to the story of how the nation began and helped us appreciate the vision and courage of the people who shaped it.
Our guide Tom made the experience even better. He was excellent, very animated and truly knowledgeable about every place we visited. His enthusiasm helped bring each landmark to life and made the tour engaging from start to finish. We walked away with a stronger understanding of the city and a greater appreciation for the history behind it thanks to Tom.

Adam’s knowledge of Philadelphia history was so helpful. We’re history buffs also, but learned a lot. With government shutdown going on, Adam had a lot of great ideas on places that were still open. This tour was the highlight of our stay here.

Great tour with lots of history! Even if we couldn’t get into all of the buildings due to government “challenges”, David provided us with plenty of learning along the way. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and other sites to visit.
