Margie was a wonderful host! We had a great time! Be aware that the website I found this pub crawl on stated beer was included. Website took me to viator to purchase tickets. Found out during tour that beer was not included. Unfortunately, we had to incur the cost of drinks ourselves.

And we're sorry about the confusion with the beer. Unfortunately, a lot of 3rd party websites list incorrect information about our tours. We do mention on Viator that beer is not included but we will review the posting to make sure that fact is clear.

All of the beer was great, but we walked only about a half of a block. The history wasn’t about the pubs, but rather the history of Philadelphia and the constitution. If you are looking for a history tour, this probably isn’t the one for you. Noisy bars on a Saturday night made it very difficult to hear. Nothing special about any of the bars ( not really pubs) that we went to. Jenna was a knowledgeable historian.

As we mention in our listing, our tour is focused on Philly's colonial and revolutionary history - we love sharing the stories they left out of 8th grade social studies class. This was a great experience! The group was a lot of fun and the small size allowed for a lot of sharing and getting to know people. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, and a great storyteller! She took us to 4 great bars and we were able to order our own drinks. It was just a fantastic evening!

Great time with Jamie! He was extremely knowledgeable and you can tell is just genuinely curious about history. It wound up being just my husband and I on the walk so it was fantastic to have just small personal discussions with him and be able to ask lots of questions. Would highly recommend!

The first pub with the Belgian beer was a gem. My favorite. The stories were good but we heard them other places. Most were repeats. I wanted more tea!!

Our guide was exceptionally prepared to lead us on the tour. He provided interesting history information with a good mix of humor. He was attentive to the group’s needs and monitoring that all of us were having a great time. This tour exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it to others.
