This was a great tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable. Gave us fun history facts along the way. Food choices were excellent. You will definitely get full on this tour. Would definitely recommend a family and friends. Tour guide gave us facts in history. He was very organized. Made sure that we were safe while crossing crossing street streets.

I was not impressed with this foodie tour :( For $75 we received a slice of cheese-less pizza, a small piece of a pretzel, and very underwhelming Philly cheesesteak, and a cookie. We love doing foodie tours and this one did not deliver.

Our Flavors of Philly tour is intentionally designed around Philly's most iconic foods and the stories behind them. One of those stops is tomato pie, a longtime local specialty that's traditionally served without cheese and reflects the history and traditions of our Italian-American community. While it's a favorite among many locals, we understand that it isn't what every visitor expects when compared to regular pizza.
We appreciate your comments regarding the tastings and value, and we'll certainly keep them in mind as we continue to evaluate the guest experience.

Karen was a great guide! She was extremely knowledgeable about the food (obviously) and also gave great context about how the food plays into the history of the city.

Steve was a great tour guide. He introduced us to all of Philly’s favorites. It was raining the entire tour but Steve made it the best it could be.

What an incredible experience! The Flavors of Philly Food Tour was the perfect way to experience Philadelphia's iconic food scene while learning about the city's rich history and culture. From authentic cheesesteaks and tomato pie to soft pretzels and delicious sweet treats at the famous Reading Terminal Market, every stop was thoughtfully selected and absolutely delicious. The tour started out with Adam getting everyone familiar with the rest of the group. I wondered if there would be enough food worth skipping lunch for. All of us left stuffed to the gills and we had to start sharing one portion rather than getting a complete portion each. The food was good. The tour was fun and enlightening.

The tour did not require a whole lot of walking, but we visited a number of great places and Stacey gave us great history and tips. I was traveling solo and it was a fabulous way to take a break from a day of work.

Stacy was great. Did have trouble hearing and seeing her. A suggestion would be if she had a long wood pile with an animal or flag, or about anything that she could hold up so the group could see where she was.

It's a fair amount of walking and stairs, so make sure you are up for that - but if you are, it's SO worth it. Been on a lot of food tours in a lot of American cities, and this one leaves you feeling genuinely full at the end. Appreciated how our tour guide Adam sprinkled in some history and spent some time getting to know the group and our interests. Overall it was a great experience, and I highly recommend.

Caitlyn was such a fantastic guide. She was so knowledgeable about all the local restaurants and had so much info on the background of phillys cuisine. We enjoyed all of the stops and the market. Great tour, great food. Highly recommend it.

There was no address on the building and weren’t told to meet indoors. The tour guide was sitting inside looking at his phone and we were stressed out trying to find him and not miss the tour.

Thank you for your feedback. Even with a rocky start, your rating reflects a good experience, so I'm glad to hear it was enjoyable overall and that we were still able to get our tour started on time! But I do need to defend that we haven't changed the meeting description in 10+ years, and the word "indoors" in all caps.

Kelly did a great job! She really knows the city,the food was good, and the tour of Del Friscos was the icing on the doughnut. She interejected a lot of interesting history into the tour, and we tried tomato pie, soft pretzels, Philly cheesesteak, cheez fries, a doughnut and a cookie,so I was full too!
