Josh was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable of Revolutionary History and explained it in a way that we could remember. Highly reccomend!

Had a great time with Ted as our guide! The tour was interesting and we definitely learned a lot! Even in the heat we had a great time!

The tour guide was fantastic! I’m forgetting his name but he was scheduled for the 1 PM two hour tour of founding fathers on Sunday, July 5

It was an information-packed tour and Russ filled us in with all the details. He was quick in delivery, making sure we got everything we needed to know given the limited time.

Great tour even though the weather was rainy. Richard was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged even though the weather was challenging

Our guide Josh was very informative with background details on the sites. His enthusiasm and energy was contagious!

Josh was a great tour guide on one of the hottest days of the year! He was informative, approachable, funny, and made his voice heard above the cacophony of sounds in Philly that day — parades, protests, World Cup fans and visitors for America 250 were all present! I learned a ton and would highly recommend!

Tour was interesting. I thought we would see the liberty bell. The weather was extremely hot. Our guide Krista was very knowledgeable and enjoyed her.

It's almost entirely outside so there's alot of walking. So depending on the weather, take precaution.

Richard was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was very passionate about his city and about the history of our country. This was a two hour walking tour hits all the main highlights you’d wanna see when you first come to the city. Highly recommend.

Ordered tickets online-very easy process. Met with guides at the Visitor Center. Divided into two groups. One with Josh the other with Kyle. We went with Kyle. Very hot day and Kyle was dressed in period dress. I don't know how he manage that. Kyle was extremely animated and made the entire tour fascinating. He used members of the tour to play characters of the time. This really kept all of us engaged. Kyle also had a young understudy along to help present some of the information. She did fairly well but her presentation just needed some practice to make her delivery smoother. Overall, one of the best walking tours I have experienced . I will recommend this to anyone visiting the Philadelphia area.

Ted was excellent, especially his knowledge of the old city. The stories brought together our nation’s history better than any book could.

Ed was wonderful. Very full of knowledge. The reason for 4 stars is the heat, lack of shade, and it was hard to keep our kids engaged for a full 2 hours. A microphone with speaker attached to your guides would be a great addition. It was hard hearing with all the commotion and other tours in the area. Ed did a great job managing all that and finding us shade when possible.

Ted was our tour guide and you could tell he really cares about the history and really gave us a great experience!

The tour was both enjoyable and informative. Our guide, Elijah, was new to the company, but her expertise was evident. She provided fascinating historical insights into the sites we visited, such as Washington Square, which I had never known about. I highly recommend using them, and will definitely use them again for future tours.
Your price was $34 per person, which was reasonable for the 2 hour tour.
There were 27 people on the tour, which they split into 2 tour groups.

Kyle did an outstanding job bringing Philadelphia’s history to life. His knowledge of the city, the Founding Fathers, and the stories behind the buildings made every stop interesting. He kept the tour engaging with a great mix of history, humor, and local recommendations, and was happy to answer questions along the way.

Joseph from Grim was kind, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor as he led us through Philadelphia. We loved our time spent on this tour and would absolutely recommend!

Good general overview of some of the major historical places (Liberty Bell and Independence Hall) and other lesser-known facts of places and people important to the early days/years of the country's founding.
Sergio_P, Jun 2026
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a truly wonderful experience. I didn’t have too much expectations going in but I ended up having a great time!

What a beautiful tour!
Josh did a superb job of giving us one historic fact after another with so much enthusiasm and animation at least 90% of the information is surely going to stick and will be retained for years to come.
It’s a lovely brisk walk and of course we saw some really amazing historic sites.
Would join a tour with Josh any day! He’s awesome!
Rebecah_C, Jun 2026
Great tour! Stay close to the tour guide as it’s sometime difficult to what with all the traffic. I highly recommend!
David_B, Jun 2026
This tour was very well organized and led. Christa is very knowledgeable, answered questions clearly, and is fun! We appreciated learning particulars about the country's beginnings. One difficulty for us, as senior citizens, was standing in one place for several minutes during presentations. We would often retreat to a bench or wall to rest, even if out of earshot. One idea: rent out walking sticks that can unfold into little seats. We are quite eager to take another history tour.
osiel_l, Jun 2026
What a complete waste of time and money! It felt like a never-ending 2-hour walk just to rip us off. Avoid at all costs.
Cynthia_D, Jun 2026
Well thought out- Russ is a wealth of information! Loved that he would find shady areas for our stops.
Melissa_M, Jun 2026
Enjoyed by our family of 4, including 2 teens. Plenty of time to sit and listen, so you're not on your feet for 2 hours. Josh was our guide - animated, enjoyable, entertaining, informative.
Aaron_D, Jun 2026
Richard was amazing! We learned so much and fell in love with Philadelphia! From William Penn's legacy to Ben Franklin to the founding of America, whata great tour!
Tim_O, Jun 2026
Check in was a bit chaotic due to the number of people signed up for the tour but everyone was accommodated. Our guide, Christa, was very informative and had a great sense of humor too. The time went by quickly. Highly recommend.
