Bad

Dennis_O, Jul 2026
App gives no solid direction as to how too download the tour. I followed the instructions but no luck. Stopping at the visitor center I had to spend an additional $8.95 to purchase their downloadable disc which worked perfectly. I’d recommend your app too no one!

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Dennis, I’m sorry the GPS driving tour for my Valley Forge Revolutionary War tour didn’t download properly for you. The app link and unique password are sent after purchase, and the tour should be downloaded beforehand so it works offline at the park. Please reach out to me between 9 AM and 6 PM EST with your booking details so I can look into this and make it right.

Morgan_W, Jun 2026
Just do it. The entire thing. So cool! At the very least make it to Washington’s Headquarters. If the exhibit inside the train station is open, it’s even cooler.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Morgan, I’m so glad you enjoyed my Valley Forge GPS Driving Audio Tour. It’s wonderful to know the experience left such a strong impression and that you recommend taking the full tour. Washington’s Headquarters is certainly a highlight, and I’m glad you mentioned the train station exhibit. If you're interested in exploring more of Pennsylvania, I also offer tours including the Gettysburg Battlefield, the Philadelphia Walking Tour, and Seminary Ridge & Devil’s Den. Happy exploring!

Get this. Don’t visit without it.

Scott_H, May 2026
We spent several hours doing this tour. Not just an auto tour. There are points you can get out and listen to facts as you walk short trails. Most definitely greatly enhanced our enjoyment of this site. A+++++

Disappointed

Cheryl_B, Oct 2025
We used these self guided tours in the past and were very pleased. We could not get this tour to start up and the map was almost useless. Maybe we were using it wrong, but it was difficult to start and did not provide much value. What recordings we could hear provided great information but we missed hearing most of them.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Cheryl, I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Valley Forge Revolutionary War Self-Guided Driving Tour. I understand how frustrating it must have been not to be able to start the tour and to have trouble with the map. I’d like to learn more about what went wrong—were there any specific issues with starting the tour or using the map that we can fix? Knowing more about what happened will help me make the experience better for future users. Please feel free to reach out—I’m available every day from 9 to 6 EST, and I’d be happy to help you further.

Needs better navigation

Kathleen_L, Sep 2025
The verbal information was good but directions were hard for us. It be nice if it used maps to navigate. We have trouble hearing and got lost a few times. Kind of disappointing.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Kathleen, I’m glad you enjoyed the verbal information on my Valley Forge audio tour. I’d love to hear more about the locations where you felt the directions were unclear—any specific spots would help me pass this feedback to my team for review. In the meantime, I’d be happy to offer a replacement tour or process a refund. Please feel free to reach out—I’m available daily from 9 to 6 EST and happy to assist!

Carrie_C, Aug 2025
Pointless boring most of the things were closed so you just had to take pictures, we took the driving tour and we had to keep getting out of the car and walking and that's not what we wanted

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Carrie, I’m sorry to hear about your experience with my Valley Forge audio tour. Yes, some closures can disrupt the drive, which I understand can be frustrating. The good news is that the tour remains valid for a full year, so you can revisit once the closures are lifted, or I can offer a different self-guided audio tour as a replacement. If you need any assistance, I’m available daily from 9 to 6 EST, and I can also help process a refund if needed.

Experience Valley Forge

June_L, Aug 2025
The Valley Forge audio download was super interesting and easy to listen to. It gave me a great feel for what happened there without being too heavy or boring. A fun way to learn about an important piece of history, especially if you’re in the area or just curious.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

June, I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed my Valley Forge audio tour. It’s wonderful to know that it helped bring history to life without feeling overwhelming. I’m excited that you found it both informative and enjoyable. If you're interested in exploring more of Pennsylvania, I also offer tours like the Gettysburg Battlefield, the Philadelphia Walking Tour, and Seminary Ridge & Devil’s Den. Happy exploring!

The map and the audio...

Patti_F, Jul 2025
The map numbers for each stop do not correspond with the audio tour numbers. It would be more helpful if the numbers for each stop were the same on the map and the audio tour. The audio tour was helpful for a first time visitor.

Response from Host, Jul 2025

Patti, I’m glad you found my Valley Forge audio tour helpful, and I hope it enhanced your visit to Valley Forge. I appreciate your feedback and will share it with the team. If you have any further suggestions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out—I’m available daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. If you're interested in exploring more of Pennsylvania, I also offer tours such as the Gettysburg Battlefield, the Philadelphia Walking Tour, and Seminary Ridge & Devil’s Den. Happy exploring!

Laurie_B, Jun 2025
Was disappointed that it would stop every time I wanted to take a picture. It may take 2 hours just driving and not getting out of the car for anything but otherwise will take longer. It was a great experience! Will use again elsewhere.

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Laurie, I’m glad to hear you had a great experience at Valley Forge and plan to use my app again. You’re absolutely right—when you take snaps, the audio pauses to make sure you don’t miss any details, especially when you're taking photos or enjoying the view. Hand and hand with George

The most memorable part was to slide my hand down the same stair case rail as George Washington. The most memorable part was to slide my hand down the same stair case rail as George Washington. The most memorable part was to slide my hand down the same stair case rail as George Washington.

Viator needs to vet their tour operators better

Betsy_C, Aug 2024
Scammed by tour company. When I went to the Visitors Center I was told the tickets I bought were fake and they wouldn’t honor them! When I complained to Viator they said it was tour operator’s fault and immediately agreed to refund my money.

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Hi Betsy, I provide only a self-guided audio tour, not an entrance ticket, and my listing clearly states that. Right after purchase, you should have received an email with instructions. The app and tour must be downloaded beforehand, as my app works offline once downloaded. The product is valid for a year, so there's no need to worry if your travel plans change. It sounds like you were looking for an entrance ticket and booked my tour by mistake, so please email me or request a refund.

Would not recommend. Cannot get in touch with anyone . We used Viator years ago it was good - not this time for 2 tours

Jacqueline_C, Aug 2024
Visitor center had no idea of where to start or anything about Viator tours. Figured it out then Rangers blocked the one way road for the tour so only option was to drive out of Valley Forge.

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Jacqueline, the starting point is shared in multiple places, such as the listing page, Viator confirmation email, and my instruction email. If the tour is downloaded beforehand, the app will automatically guide you to the starting point. The app and tour must be downloaded beforehand, as it works offline once downloaded. The product is valid for a year, so there’s no need to worry if your travel plans change. If you have any other questions, please let me know ASAP.

Enjoyable and at your own pace. Not committed to a time frame. Fantastic

Susan_S, Jun 2024
Great experience. Very informative stories along the way. Go at your own pace beautiful drive. Great way to experience the park.

Response from Host, Jul 2024

Susan! I'm glad my Valley Forge tour was a hit. If you want to delve deeper into this period, my Historic Battlefields Bundle lets you explore Gettysburg, Antietam, and other key sites with the same flexibility and insightful narration.

Valley Forge from your car

Kit_S, Jan 2024
It was a little confusing with the stories directing us and seeing the signs, then switching to the map but overall we enjoyed it.

Valley forge by car

Joan_W, Oct 2023
There were roads blocked for entry that changed the route. Interesting narrative added to our experience

David_C, Jul 2023
Great, friendly and knowledgeable guides and very scenic route Watch your head for the overhanging branches and trees though!

Response from Host, Jul 2023

Worth the money to stay on course

Mark_D, Mar 2023
The app worked perfectly. It was informative however I think it could have provided more details. Although there are down times in what you are seeing, there are so many facts that could be provided during the travel time that could fill the time. More information is never a bad thing. It was definitely worth having to keep you from experiencing the whole VFNP.

Response from Host, Mar 2023

Thank you, Mark! We are delighted to hear that the app worked perfectly for you and provided useful content. I appreciate your suggestion to provide more information during the trip. We recognize that some more interesting facts and details can be shared, and we will consider this in our next tour version. We hope you had a memorable and enjoyable overall experience.

George Washington’s house...

Sharon_D, Oct 2022
George Washington’s house was a great experience to see how he lived under the circumstances. He really must have cared for his men and country.

Response from Host, Nov 2022

Thank you so much for your feedback, Sharon! I’m thrilled that my tour of Valley Forge added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the tour and earn that extra star! I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.

Valley Forge GPS Guide and Audio Tour

Jay_A, Aug 2022
Very good at telling the history of each stop in the park. Difficult to get it started at first to time correctly with each stop. Would have liked to have been advised as to what exact place I should start the tape so that it picked up GPS faster than it did. I had to double back to stop 2 after going to stop 3. Good value for the $10 invested. Very clear audio and I liked the GPS feature on my car screen when I connected to media output port.

Response from Host, Aug 2022

Thanks so much for your feedback and suggestions Jay! I'm thrilled that my tour of Valley Forge added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. The audio starts playing automatically when you get to the spot. The delay was caused by the GPS not being in proper sync. I'm glad you got as much out of the tour as possible and that everything went well:) In addition, I have 100 other tours in the USA. Please check them out on your next vacation. Also, just to remind you that the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit also.

Great tour

Lisa_M, Aug 2022
It was interesting with just the right amount of information. A beautiful park. The tour was great because you can go at your own pace and see just what you want. Because the tour is gps enabled, dialogue starts when you approach a sight.

Response from Host, Aug 2022

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback, Lisa. If you are still in the area, try out one of the other ten tours we have there. I have a total of 100 tours in the USA. I hope you will consider my other tours on your future vacations.

Thumbs up for Self-Guided Driving Tour!

Pamela_W, Jul 2022
Informational part of the tour was very interesting and I learned more then I thought I would. Commentary, you do have to get in/out of the car and walk several times or you will not get the full experience of the tour. Definitely will pack sneakers. Definitely will do another tour of this type again. You get to move/stop at your own pace and that was a definite plus.

Response from Host, Aug 2022

That’s fantastic! Thanks so much and excellent recommendations for all future travelers. Hope you get to try my other tours too!

Interesting but lacking tour signs

Donna_T, Jun 2022
Interesting tour but confusing to follow. No signs. No direction to keep you on track. Hard to drive and follow a map at tbe same time

Response from Host, Jun 2022

Thanks for the feedback Donna! We can’t control the lack of physical signage onsite but hopefully the “turn right/left” narrations in the tour helped.

Absolutely necessary to have this if you are Touring Valley Forge.

Lisa_M, Apr 2022
Absolutely necessary to have this if you are Touring Valley Forge.. The audio tour was great told us where to go and gave us history as to what we were looking at I wouldn’t do the tour without it very informational

Response from Host, Apr 2022

That’s awesome to hear!! I’m thrilled my tour added so much to your Valley Forge experience! Hope you get the chance to try out my other tours on your future travels!

Missed most of the points of interest

steven_g, Mar 2022
Decent narrative but missed most of the points of interest On the other hand The content that was presented was good quality

Response from Host, Mar 2022

Our tour covers the entirety of Valley Forge including all points of interest, highlights, official park stops, and unofficial but interesting spots — but if there’s anything specific we can add, please let us know! We’d love to improve the tour in any way possible. Please note that it’s important to follow the tour route — that way, all important points are hit.
