Was cracking up the whole time

If you are only in...

If you are only in Philadelphia for a day or so, this is a nice tour that doesn’t run too long, but gives you some great history about where our country was born. Our guide, Seamus, was knowledgeable, welcoming and imparted humor with his stories about Penn, Franklin and Betsy Ross. He also spoke very clearly and loud enough for everyone to hear.

My husband and I took the...

My husband and I took the 2 hour electric cart tour on a very frigid day in February. Mark was our tour guide and he was fantastic. It was just my husband and I on the tour as the other party canceled and he really made it personal. Mark was a wealth of knowledge and really shared his love for the city. When the roads were closed due to snow removal and we couldn’t get to the Rocky statue, Mark pivoted and took us through Chinatown and the Italian Market. He knew we really wanted to go see the Rocky statue and made sure to take us back at the end of our tour when the roads reopened. It was a jam packed 2 hours that allowed us to explore many of the highlights Philly has to offer! We would definitely recommend this tour!

A amazing and inspiring tour Revolution and the founders.

Me and my girlfriend had the pleasure of taking the founders and revolution history tour. Our tour guide was Kyle, but I like to refer to him as James Madison due to his passionate displays of emotion and character throughout the tour. I really felt like me and my girlfriend were taking a tour of historical Philadelphia with one of the founding fathers himself. He was able to tailor the tour towards our interests and questions. It was a very immersive experience. Those two hours were so enriching with culture and history, and we have only just scratched the surface of the history of the revolution. I came out of the tour inspired to seek more knowledge on the revolution and its key figures such as James Madison, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adam’s. Our tour guide Kyle was even able to give us an amazing story of love between James Madison and how he came to marry, the famous Dolly Madison. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed the romantic story. The tour was well worth the money. My expectations were exceeded, and I gained a wealth of knowledge and a spark of curiosity. Thank you Kyle for showing us that life’s rewards are worth the fight. So much fun and SO interesting. Our guide, Brianna, was awesome — informative, funny, kind, and she has a great taste in sweaters. I used to be a tour guide in Philly (carriage driver) so I know what a good tour guide is. Lots of interesting historical facts along with good ghost stories. Sorry to see that City Tavern never reopened.
