Overview
Dive with sharks without worrying about disturbing the environment with this private, research-based tour program. Originally founded as a research initiative, it’s now open to the public to educate and inspire marine conservation. Learn about the latest shark research, biology, behavior, and body language from expert marine biologists. Then, get up close in the safest and most respectful way, gaining firsthand experience with these incredible animals.

- Most travelers can participate
- Drones are not allowed on board for safety reasons.
- There is no age or height limit to come onboard the vessel. However, participants must be at least 4ft tall to get into the water.
- You must be physically fit and able to swim if you want to get into the water
- You do not need any previous dive experience, it is NOT a scuba dive. It is a shark snorkel with the opportunity to swim down, but you do not need to swim below the surface if you donʻt want to.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

It was an amazing experience! The crew was super friendly and helpful throughout the trip. We had about an hour in the water with several opportunities for free snorkeling, and we always felt completely safe. We also learned so much about these incredible creatures. Totally recommend this experience!

Amazing experience. The crew was awesome, super dialed‑in on safety, and you can tell they care about the sharks. Being in the water with Galapagos and sandbar sharks was already insane, but when Killowaya the tiger shark showed up, the whole dive went next‑level. Seeing a tiger shark up close with no cage is something I’ll never forget. If you’re in Oahu, do this, it’s worth every second.
This was an absolutely incredible experience. Would 1000% recommend. The guides are awesome (we had Drew and Tyler), and how often do you get to say you swam with Tiger sharks WITHOUT A CAGE?!? If you’re on Oahu this is an absolute “must do”.
This was an absolutely incredible and surreal experience. I would recommend being a comfortable swimmer but the guides were knowledgeable and very encouraging. I felt very safe and lucky to be able to experience wildlife in their own habitat in a respectful way.

The driver could have been a little nicer and less attitude!
Everyone should take Dramamine before though.
This experience was AMAZING!! We swam so close to the sharks! Our guide was incredible. I am not the strongest swimmer so I was a little afraid of the dive, but she was right there the whole time to make sure I was safe. Make sure to take Dramamine before you go because the boat ride to and from can be rough.
We had a great outing with the team at One Ocean Diving! We saw a few different species of sharks while we were out there. Highly recommend this tour for those looking to learn and swim with the sharks
I felt so safe. It was amazing! The staff was so nice and I learned so much! This is one of the coolest things I’ve done and would definitely do again!

This was absolutely amazing!!! Our captain and safety divers were so wonderful. I was traveling with my husband and two teenage daughters and we all had the best time. The crew really had our safety as top priority. This was a once in a lifetime experience to swim with and learn about sharks in their natural environment. If you are on the fence- get off and go do this you won’t regret it!
The weather was cloudy and a little rainy but we saw whales with a brand new baby whale, turtles and fish when snorkeling. No dolphins today but captain Zac was great and all his crew, Brandon, Ben, Xy and can’t remember the other guys name something with a H, I think, and Anon who was taking pictures and in Japanese. They made the day great a lot of fun so glad we did this trip tour.
It was the most amazing experience and the guides are fantastic! Highly recommend getting the picture package.
I was scared to death to do this, but this crew helped me feel so much better about getting in the water. Never once did I feel like I was in danger. It wasn’t like the movies portray, it was peaceful and beautiful. We plan on doing this again. I want to do better next time and I definitely won’t be so scared. Great education on the sharks too. We all need to do better to make sure sharks stay in our oceans.

My fiancé and I did this amazing experience 2 days ago, the sharks were amazing, it’s so beautiful to see them and you will definitely see a lot of them in this experience! The crew wasn’t the best, they were kinda rude (except the woman and the photographer in there), the guy who was in the water with us said some rude things to people that were scared to diving in, like “you also have to kick, I won’t be carrying you down there, next time you say you don’t want to do it” and also when we were in the line holding the rope he said like “what are you guys doing in there? Move move move, people are smash in the stairs, you need to pay attention on it, move”.. considering that we were all scared, some people like us were doing this for the first time, and have a man yelling at you didn’t help too much. Also, he didn’t let us swim around, we just stayed in a line holding the rope all the time (and the woman said we could swim on the side of the boat, she didn’t say anything about holding the rope all the time). I was very happy about the sharks but the crew could be better and nicer :)
It was amazing! I have never felt so safe in the ocean. The crew is fantastic and educate you well before getting you into the water. The sharks were majestic, it was magical to share their space with them.
Amazing!!!! All female crew, very experienced and knowledgeable… safety was top priority… they put everyone at ease whose nerves were beginning to show when boarding the boat. Lots of sharks … definitely do it if unsure - you won’t regret it!!!

You are holding a secure rope connected to the boat & snorkeling simultaneously looking down at a pool of sharks that are minding their own business. You get to swim freely with the assistance of a dive pro while they film you with the go pro. Each person got 3-5 dives. I definitely felt like I got adequate value for this price point. We got lucky enough to have two tiger sharks visit & as nervous as I was when I saw him, I never felt in danger or regret that I was down there. Honestly this was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve ever had; my guide Gina was an absolute rock star. She made me feel confident, safe & secure in the water during my free dives which allowed to really feel like I got the most out of trip. Highly recommended to anyone who has ever wanted to shark cage dive or swim with sharks!! Thank you! 🤙🏻👌🏻

If you are an adventure junkie i don’t know what comes close, not for the faint hearted though. Took my mom and gf and both of them felt like throwing up (gf grew up on a lake so a water girl)

The crew was very experienced, safe, informative and patient. They made the experience feel safe and exciting. They had the right about of lax mixed with seriousness. Enjoyed all of it. I never felt in danger the whole time and we came up to the sharks like 2 ft. Away at one point.

The experience and tour guides were amazing! I felt safe the whole time I was in the water. Gina was by our side the entire time. We did the photographer package as well and it was worth the money! Bret was friendly and did an amazing job! We received both pictures and videos of our experience. If we come back to Hawaii, I will do it again!

Outstanding. We saw tiger sharks and whales! started on time and ended on time. The staff was very pleasant.
Absolutely amazing. Gina was our ocean guide and was spectacular. Just do it. You will never regret this experience but you will regret missing out on it.
My daughter and I loved this experience so much, we went back for a second dive! I had a huge fear of sharks before going, but Faith, Mariah and Kevin made it educational and calming! I highly recommend doing this on your trip to Oahu! Swimming with the sharks has become my all time favorite thing! Don’t miss out!
