What To Expect
Ahead of your scheduled departure time, make your own way to Pier 8, Aloha Tower Marketplace, located just 20 minutes on foot from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu.
Once aboard, find your seat at a private dining table. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of Pacific Rim cuisine, and watch a live show featuring contemporary entertainment.
Be sure to bring your camera for shots of the tropical island scenery gliding by. Climb up to the 60-foot (18-meter) wrap-around panoramic decks to take in the sunset after the meal.
If you book on a Friday, enjoy an extra hour of sailing and a fireworks show before returning to shore.
After several hours on the water, your cruise ends back at the dock.

I joined the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise and really enjoyed the experience. The views were absolutely stunning — but of course, that’s because Hawaii is beautiful! The dinner was pretty good and very filling. The onboard performance was fun and added to the relaxing atmosphere. It was a great way to spend the evening, with good food, music, and ocean scenery. Everything was well organized, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this cruise if you’re visiting Honolulu and want a memorable night on the water.

Make sure you know what tier of the boat you booked. The buffet tier was great! The food was good and I enjoyed the entertainment. I liked the conga line at the end as well. Our attendant Blake, did a fabulous job!

We did this sunset dinner cruise on our first evening in Waikiki, it was nice! Large boat, so a lot of people, which was fine, we knew it would be busy! The food options were good, lots to choose from, so everyone was able to get food that they liked (prime rib, bbq chicken, salmon options for meat, different salads, mashed potatoes, etc.). The entertainment was great! There was a guy with a guitar that was nice to listen to, and then the dance show was super entertaining!! Amazing views as well!!!

My experience was bad. I was on the second deck it was hot with no air conditioning. The bottom deck had air conditioning. The server had a nasty attitude never came over to service my table. Never again for on this cruise ship.
I was hot and sweaty I got sick on the cruise ship. The only thing that was good was the food. After no one could help I asked for a refund because it was hot then the crew going to say they would split my group up where some can sit in air conditioning and the others sit in the heat. Never again for this cruise ship in Hawaii. My first time in Hawaii and this is what I experienced. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I posted a picture of what deck don’t sit on and if you have that deck in the summer get your money back. Then customer service will denied it because they’re not about customer service or customer satisfaction.

If you are in Waikiki Beach area there are pickup and dropoff points for in walking distance of your hotel . $21.00 round trip was our cost.

You get dinner, show and a boat ride with amazing views. Touristy but nice. I recommend booking the Friday night dinner because you also get fireworks.

We’ve been on quite a few dinner cruises at various locations and I think this one if the best we’ve done. It was very organized…checking in, boarding, getting seated, receiving drinks, getting in line for the buffet…all orderly and timely. The food was great with plenty of options. Great views and entertainment.

The staff were mostly nice however they gave our table of 8 to other people then we had to wait to be seated and they tried to seat us at 2 tables. When i protested they didnt offer any solutions. We said can we put 2 tables together and they let us do it but the lady helping us had attitude about it. The waitress was friendly and tried to compensate for it but i am still aggravated about it.

Entertainment was fun. If you don’t want a luau this is a good cheap option. Dinner was not good, Mai tai was too sweet. But overall good entertainment. Beautiful sunset too.

Experience was nice and things went orderly from start to finish but the ship was so crowded. Entertainment show and DJ was great got a lot of audience participation. But only thing I can say is people were on top of each other. That’s the reason I didn’t give it a 5 star

My husband and I went. The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. The food was very good I especially liked the chicken it was juicy and very flavorful. After dinner we went outside walked around the bow then went up to the upper deck and sat outside just to watch the water and look at Honolulu from the water it was very pretty I hoped we would have seen some dolphins but we did not.
