What To Expect
In the early evening, make your way to the departure point for your sunset cruise (or upgrade when booking to add on transportation from select Honolulu hotels). Upon arrival, board your vessel, and enjoy a welcome toast with Champagne.
As the boat sails away from Waikiki, admire views of Diamond Head and the sunset over Oahu. Explore all four decks of the boat, including the observation deck up top, which offers unimpeded views of the island's coastline.
Next, sit down for a gourmet, 5-course dinner featuring lobster or steak. As you dine, listen to live music. Then, take in the feature show, which celebrates Hawaii's culture, and features a wide range of performances.
After several hours on the water, return to dry land and your original departure point.

Great Experience... unforgettable moments were made... Warm Welcome, fresh fruits and cheeses, good drinks, 5-course meal, everything was timed right... ENTERTAINMENT.... ENTERTAINMENT.... ENTERTAINMENT...., so happy my friends and family were able to share in this experience with me for my 50th Birthday!!! It's a must! And would definitely do it again!!! The staff and service on The Star of Honolulu was fantastic. The food was very good and so was the entertainment. We cruised on a Friday, so we also saw the fireworks. I would highly recommend this dinner cruise.

I had no idea the champagne toast they give you is non alcoholic lol I wish I was told before, but they give you 2 drinks and they were really good, I recommend the chi chi it was very sweet but yummy, they won’t give you water unless you ask so definitely ask. The bread was surprisingly really delicious and soft, I wasn’t expecting much from it, you get a buffet appetizer not much selection just cheese and fruits. You get to walk around the boat as much as you want which I wasn’t expecting but was so much fun taking cute pictures and seeing the beautiful ocean. Lobster was kinda hard to crack into but they have a video if you need help. The steak isn’t very seared which made me doubt it but honestly extremely tender and juicy, they don’t ask how you like it cooked so hopefully you like it rare. Didn’t care for the dessert and wish I got the tea instead of coffee, coffee was super bitter. I’m glad I went, unforgettable beautiful experience.

Very relaxed cruise with great food. The dessert was the only sketchy menu item. For the amount of money, the dessert was weak. Other than that, the Lobster was excellent, the steak was great and tender, the sides and appetizers were all good. Loved the complimentary wine and drinks. And finally, the sunset was beautiful. A great close to the night along with the entertainers.

I enjoyed this experience. I love how the staff was responsive and attentive to our dietary needs. The performance were beautiful and the food was well seasoned and cooked. I will recommend to friends and couples looking to enjoy a peaceful day on the boat.

The cruise was really nice for our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys. When you first arrive, your salad is already set at your table and the rest of the courses are well paced. Be patient because your server handles multiple tables and kind of takes care of one at a time. The food was good, the staff was helpful and friendly. The adult beverages were just ok. Three of the four of us do sometimes experience motion sickness. It wasn’t too bad but we each had our moments. We took some Dramamine ahead of time too. We also did the Friday night option and got to see the fireworks.

The whole experience was amazing! The food was so delicious! Our waitress was on point! Would love to do it again! We had lobster, steak, cheese and crackers, salad. I did not like the dessert but other then that everything was amazing!

Above and beyond what I expected! I originally thought it was a choice between lobster or steak but you got both items! My wife and I neither of us eat lobster so chicken was substituted which was really good as was the steak cooked perfectly! Servers were awesome the entertainment was great! I would certainly advise people that visit in the future to take this cruise!! Mahalo!

Don’t waste your time and especially your money. This is the worst I have ever seen. The piano player couldn’t sing or even hit the right keys on the keyboard.
The non-alcoholic champagne tasted like it had sea water in it.
The dancers were ok. A total waste of time and money. If this was my only experience in Hawaii, I would never come back.

While being picked up at our hotel was very convenient, the food was not very good. The service was incredibly slow. They would definitely benefit from busers. The food was cold. We received two drink tickdt each and had the service been faster, we would have ordered a bottle of wine, but we didn't get dessert until after we docked. The entertainment was okay, but was very disjointed. The cruise was only two hours, so you would imagine the entertainers could have played through together until the Polynesian dancers came up. Overall, cruising was nice, but the service and food could use a lot of improvement.
