The Moana Catamaran is located on the south end of Kewalo Harbor, at slip D 108. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to check-in time. Best and easiest way to get to us is Uber, Lyft or cab. Very limited parking available in harbor. Additional parking available at ward shopping areas.

Itinerary

Begin your Hawaiian sunset cruise by heading to the south end of Kewalo Harbor to find The Moana Catamaran. It’s advised to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure so that you can maximize the time on the water.

Sail along Waikiki's coast, and enjoy breathtaking views of the sun setting below the horizon and enjoying alcoholic beverages. Capture the changing colors of the sky and the silhouette of Diamond Head, with opportunities to spot dolphins and, from November to May, majestic humpback whales.

This tour concludes back at Kewalo Basin Harbor.

Wonderful experience! The crew was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect at first and it was raining, the team went above and beyond to take us to an area with sunshine and we even got to see whales! It turned into such a memorable trip. I highly recommend this experience.

Relaxing ride and a good view of the Honolulu skyline

First off, this is not an excursion that you do for the experience itself but more of a nice, relaxing couple hours on a catamaran. I traveled solo so I found a nice spot and just enjoyed the ride. We headed out from the dock and the view of Honolulu didn't change much from the start to the finish but you get a great view of the skyline including Diamond Head. Towards the end of the ride, the staff set up the catamaran so everyone would have a great view of the sunset.The staff was great and the ride was smooth.

The sunset sail was absolutely beautiful, and the crew made the experience even better with their fun, friendly, and attentive service. I did end up getting seasick, but the crew went above and beyond to help me manage it during the two-hour sail. They checked on me consistently and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Despite my seasickness, my husband and toddler had the best time onboard and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It’s definitely a memory our family will cherish for multiple reasons. Thank you to the crew for making the evening so special!

What a perfect evening! Captain Isabella did an amazing job! She kept everyone dry, while Bridget and Sophia and the rest of the crew kept us “hydrated”! The views were amazing! Highly recommend for all ages!

Dress for a boat. It will be hot. Be prepared to be in the sun. You leave your shoes at the dock. One you set sail the wind does help cool you.

The experience was amazing to say the least! We had the all girl crew and they were so sweet and cool. They were very informative about the island and took pictures for us which was awesome. Also the drinks were very good and a lot cheaper than back on the island lol, HUGE PLUS! They also helped a man propose to his wife which was very sweet!! :)

The crew are very good - they will give you as much attention as you require, regarding drinks service, photos, conversation etc. There's a free drink included. If you like beer, I can recommend the IPA. Prices after that are pretty standard for this part of the world.

Weather was terrible with lightning and thunder out on the water and raining. Crew was saying we go rain or shine! No cancellations! Think about it…SUNSET WATCHING. It is a small boat. Not enough covered area for passengers to get out of the rain. So suffer in the wind and rain! It hurts!
