Booked with Viator which was about $40 cheaper than booking at the hotel! Honestly, savings aside...it's totally worth the cost. The crew on Sunday, 1/25/26 was very accommodating and nice. The view was amazing and we had a great time! We saw whales and dolphins and the captain caught a huge tuna. You get 2 drinks and snacks included in the price which is a bargain in itself. Love the boat! Plenty of spacing and tables to enjoy the adventure. 🥰

This was a great experience! The boat is quite big and easily fit the 16 passengers on our tour. Captain Quin, Keoni, and Jesse were a great crew! Very friendly and quite knowledgeable about whales. We were able to see several whales and some were quite close to our boat! The free drinks were a nice plus. The overall experience was top notch!

The boats are large, they offer drinks and snacks. Can move around the boat, sit or stand. Can go inside if needed.

The staff made this experience. We enjoyed the boat and the views. We saw a back and a fin, but who cares! We are on a boat in HI?! Plus the drinks were delicious. My husband and I will book this again. Also, I was worried about getting g se sick and, no issues.

Mahalo to the captain and crew! We live on the island and wanted to take a trip to see whales to the west side! And we were blessed seeing so many. The caltain and crew were amazing, always walking around asking if someone needed anything, super kind, very knowledgeable about the land and ocean and all around a 10/10 experience. We will recommend this to anyone. Mahalo again!

The crew is fantastic! They provide excellent service and are incredibly knowledgeable about whales.
They always search for the best viewing spots, and if you're lucky, you might even see them up close near the boat.

The crew was terrific! Knowledgeable , friendly and fun. Besides humpbacks, we saw a hammerhead. Had a great conversation with Anthony about among other things his tohono o’ohodom ancestry in Tucson.

Was billed twice for the tour and was not given a refund by Viator. Never trust this company.
Customer support was rude and spoke broken english. A good tour but terrible service by Viator.

A lovely cruise with a small group of people. Everyone had a beautiful view, and could spot the whales. Staff was excellent, two drinks complimentary.

Crew was nice and safe. It was a beautiful day. I expected to see a lot of whales. We saw a few mostly from 1000 yds away. Kinda underwhelming.
They served drinks even though drinks were not supposed to be a part of the journey. They also stayed out longer in order to fish which cut into our evening.

I’m local so kinda snobby when it comes to choosing a touristy excursion. But as a local, this was the perfect choice for us! I had friends visiting from the mainland so we made the trek from Kailua to the west side… and we had so much fun! We had some awesome wildlife sightings, including a brand new baby humpback with his mom, and a rare sighting of rough tooth dolphins - plus a couple of juvenile sea turtles. Captain Nick along with his crew of Caden and Quin took great care of us and were full of knowledge! Highly recommend this catamaran on the west side!!

Followed one whale coming up for air, surfacing the top of its body and tail and sailing with dolphins beside us. Enjoyed drinks served and effort made to find other whales.

We saw whales quickly, it was pretty impressive. The crew was super fun and entertaining. We had some rain and the captain drove us out of it. The "down" time was still nice, they threw out a couple fishing rods just for something else to do. Definitely book this crew and tip em well.

Such a fun time and good drinks! The boat was really nice. We saw a momma humpback and it’s baby. There are other parts of the island that I think might be better for whale watching though. The description said the boat could fit 40 but they’d only have 26 on board, but there were definitely more than 40 of us on that boat.

This is a wonderful experience from every angle. The crew was friendly and helpful, you get two free drink tickets per person and the drinks were great, and they really work at getting a good view of the whales while also respecting their space (I believe it’s the law, but still important). We had the luck to be visited by a few dolphins that wanted to ride our wake as well. It was incredible.

I was raised on the island but had never seen a whale in the wild before two months ago. The sighting had been from the shore off of Kaena Point. I wasn’t even sure what I was seeing at the time. I honestly thought someone had caught a short and was trying to get it on their boat, but when I zoomed in with my camera, I saw that it was a humpback breaching near the boat. And I wanted to see more, and closer! So I booked a cruise and was not disappointed. The crew was very entertaining and the beverages and snacks were a bonus. I’ll definitely book again next year, but maybe earlier in the season.

Seeing whales and mountains on a beautiful day is hard to beat. Definitely would do again! I loved that it was on the west side of the island made it very convenient with lots of parking and bathrooms very close
