The Moana Catamaran is located on the south end of Kewalo Harbor, at slip D 108. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to departure time. Boarding begins 15 min prior to departure time. Best parking is located on the north and east and south ends of the harbor.

Your journey continues towards the majestic Diamond Head Crater, offering coastal views along the way. Indulge in the thrill of sailing from Waikiki to Diamond Head, leaving behind the touristy hotspots. Pass by the Diamond Head State Monument and get a glimpse of its magnificence before making your way back to shore.

The crew was very friendly and accommodating. My youngest child wanted to get in the water, but I was too chicken at first to get in the water so one of the crew members offered to help her get in the water. My daughter was so appreciative and I was grateful. After chatting with the captain of the ship and the other crew members, I felt like I was hanging out with family. They are so amazing and I’m so grateful that I was able to experience the ocean with these amazing people. I will definitely be back.

Overall I give the experience 4/5 The boat was clean and the staff was nice. The drinks are very affordable and they offered water as well which was a plus. The boat did leave on time which I thought was good. If you are a person who is always late, don’t be late for this adventure because we left exactly at 2 pm. Make sure to read the directions that are sent to you once you book. I would not wear shoes. Only wear sandals because once you board the boat you will not be permitted to wear shoes or take them with you. If you get sea sick, stay home. Some parts of the ride were bumpy however that’s to be expected. The only part I did not like was the captain telling everyone to get off his boat not even 2 seconds after telling everyone to tip the staff. I found it rude, distasteful, and disrespectful. Other than that I’d say that this ride was very good.

Super fun activity in Honolulu

Moana Sip'n'Swim was a super fun experience and we were extremely glad that we did it. Be sure to show up early, because it takes a little while to find the exact dock. But if you set your nav to the meeting point you should be good. Once onboard, everything is relaxing and fun, with very friendly staff taking care of your every need. It was so cool to get to swim in the crystal clear waters, and the drinks for purchase were all really good. I loved that it was very flexible, and you could choose to go in the water however much, or little, as you wanted.

This was a fun, comfortable and relaxing catamaran sail that was a quick way to get out on the gorgeous open water and experience a breeze without taking up an entire day on Waikiki. The friendly, female and efficient crew made cocktails along the way and were more than willing to snap pics of us with Diamond Head (and the beach) as a perfect backdrop.

Excellent experience overall. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a windy day, so sailing was amazing. Personally I thought the onboard music distracted from the experience. Also, the meeting point was not well communicated. Should have specified the harbour slip number.
