You’ll meet us over at the Active Oahu Tours storefront in Kailua. Please show up 15 minutes before your booking time. We will have your kayaks and gear all set and ready to go. All you need is a 4-door car to transport them. From here you will drive to the boat harbor which is 20 minutes away.

Very nice crew. One boat pretty beat up. Far from beach and from marina (5miles). Maps were incorrect.

Great help getting everything we needed for our trip to the sandbar including directions. The sandbar was amazing and saw a turtle come right up to our kayak as we were approaching the sandbar. Highly recommend just make sure to use plenty of sunscreen.

I'm giving the high marks for the tour operator, Active Hawaii, as theywere very understanding and provided great service. Regretavly, we did not ended up taking the tour due to inclement weather. We are hoping to take the full guided tour next time. The independence guided tour offers flexibility, but you must kayak your way to the sandbar.
