Randy was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and thorough! Definitely recommend for anyone in town!
Our tour guide, Kweku, was knowledgeable and provided an insightful overview of the neighborhoods history. I highly recommended this tour and suggest requesting Kweku as your guide.
If you saw the HBO show Treme, some parts of this tour will look very familiar. That was kind of neat. I really wanted to know more about the history of this area after seeing the show, and our guide, Kweku, was so knowledgeable: I really enjoyed this tour and would recommend!
If you can only do one tour in New Orleans- make it this one and ask for Erin! It went by so quickly and I was left wishing it could have been a full day to get to go deeper. This is a history you won’t get anywhere else and it’s so vital to learn the realities of the legacies of slavery in this town.
What an amazing history about Treme. Our guide, a representative from French Quarter Phantoms, was wonderful. I apologize but I forgot his name.
The tour was very informative and our guide was great! It was hot though so be sure to bring water if possible.
This tour is amazing. Extremely informative and our guide was fantastic! Treme is an interesting and beautiful place
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. The history of the area and the musicians was very interesting.
Great tour of part of the Treme neighborhood! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, outgoing and showed an obvious love for the subject matter. A two hour tour can’t cover all the history of Treme but it did give us some great information. Highly recommend!
Kweku provided us with a fantastic tour of Treme. He was a wealth of knowledge giving us a history lesson on the birth of Jazz and how it evolved over time. In addition he talked about the Treme neighborhood and how it transformed over time. My favorite was how he incorporated the actual music into our walk so we could actually hear how it progressed and changed. Very educational. I highly recommend this tour.
Its a walking tour under the sun . Be prepare and carry water and a hat or cap. Randy was excellent. He has a lot of knowledge about the history. I love how he incorporated pieces of music into the your.
Good tour but the first hour was just in Armstrong Park. We barely got a block or two out in Treme so a bit disappointing to not see more of the actual neighborhood that remains. Great history on the park but not what we expected.
Tour guide shared an engaging blend of the neighborhood's history and culture (with an emphasis on music), would recommend.
Our guide Kweyou was amazing!!He brought the history and current story of Treme to life through music and his vast interest in and knowledge of the area
This tour is a definite must
This is a great opportunity to learn about the history, music, and traditions so many of us like and care about when it comes to New Orleans. You will learn a lot about the history, music, people, and culture of the Treme. Kweku (guide) is highly knowledgeable and engaging. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the opportunity to learn so much on a lovely walk.
Kwaku was an excellent narrator and also played music that set the mood for the different sites we saw as well as the history he was sharing. He was very knowledgeable and we truly enjoyed our tour.
This was a very informative tour of the Treme district. Our guide, Kwaku, did an excellent job of presenting the people, music, culture, and history of this neighbor in an engaging way.
The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the topic. Smart and funny. So informative, thorough, thoughtful. Must do!
Very interesting tour of one of NO’s most famous areas. Super fun and knowledgeable guide Claire brought it all to life and kept us informed and amused during the tour. Highly recommend you as for her.
Claire knows her NOLA and music history. She shared fascinating stories and added an audio backup to her presentations. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and highly recommend the experience.
Excellent tour with a knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. She really understood the history of the area and us great insight into the origins of jazz music and other notable musicians.
Claire was a fantastic tour guide. The storytelling was clear, engaging, and clearly a passion of theirs. I’d been to some of the locations before, but Claire provided so much more information about the historical and present day neighborhood and culture. This tour helped me love New Orleans even more.
