Tour was mostly park statues - not much treme

Catherine_H, Jan 2026
Good tour but the first hour was just in Armstrong Park. We barely got a block or two out in Treme so a bit disappointing to not see more of the actual neighborhood that remains. Great history on the park but not what we expected.

Good Historical Tour

Brian_L, Dec 2025
Tour guide shared an engaging blend of the neighborhood's history and culture (with an emphasis on music), would recommend.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the history, music, and traditions so many of us like and care about when it comes to New Orleans. You will learn a lot about the history, music, people, and culture of the Treme. Kweku (guide) is highly knowledgeable and engaging. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the opportunity to learn so much on a lovely walk.

Claire was a fantastic tour guide. The storytelling was clear, engaging, and clearly a passion of theirs. I’d been to some of the locations before, but Claire provided so much more information about the historical and present day neighborhood and culture. This tour helped me love New Orleans even more.

Amazing tour

Pepe took us through the park and the town of Treme where we learned a great deal about the history of the town and black history. We lucked up and ended up on a private tour. Great deal and awesome tour!

Community Full of Culture

KyNeike_K, Dec 2024
It's hard to pick one part of this tour as my most memorable. I really enjoyed everything, from the musical interludes to seeing the colorful homes. If I had to pick something, it would be the Tomb of the Unknown Slave. Bobby, the tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Best tour ever

kenneth_g, Nov 2024
Erin was the most wonderful tour guide. Passionate, funny, positive and empathetic. Her little extra such as playing music throughout the tour was perfect.

Good interaction

Cherilyn_W, Oct 2024
Our tour guide was very open to questions and was a good listener who customized the tour commentary on the fly.

Great Treme tour

Niteen_P, Oct 2024
Our guide Eva was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot of the history and she had many interesting stories. She clearly loved what she did and went beyond the planned time.

Highly recommend!

Judith_D, Jul 2024
The tour guide was amazing! She was like a walking history book. There was so much to learn. Very interesting facts and some things that just made you sad and angry! It was a very hot day and I don't think I would have continued if not for the tour guide that brought you into the stories of the neighborhoo. I wish I could remember her name but she is tiny in stature but big in history.

Excellent!!!

Karen_D, Jun 2024
Nikka was our tour guide, and she was phenomenal. We learned so much, and she took her time explaining things and answering questions. This is a tour everyone should take, as it is important to know and understand the history of this city that is not taught or widely known. In the middle of the tour we stopped for something cold to drink at a local coffee shop that also serves snow cones. Be sure to tip your guides! Always.

Highly recommend this TREME walking tour

Therese_S, Jun 2024
This was a very informative and fun walking tour - beginning in Lois Armstrong Park and then walking the streets of the TREME neighborhood. Our guide Nika played bits of famous jazz pieces to illustrate her stories about different people and places.

A Favorite!

Valerie_C, Jun 2024
Erin our tour guide was amazing and well versed in the cultural history of New Orleans. Very interesting and informative tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone.
