What are people saying about New Orleans

If you take this trip, Ask for Randy - he’s awesome
Others have said this trip is 4 miles. It’s not. It’s maybe 1 mile - I tracked it with my watch. Trip starts at the voodoo lounge, a joint open 24 hours a day. You get bogo hurricane drinks all day with your wrist band, but the drinks are fairly priced without the deal. Randy was our tour guide and was really just great. He grew up in the south and has been in NOLA for a bit now. He was winsome and inviting, had a great pace verbally and physically through the tour. He also made the trip colorful with some inside knowledge and personal stories. We walked by other tour guides of other tours, and I can tell you that without a doubt, Randy was light years ahead of many of these other folks. Randy also gave some recommendations of what to see and where to go that we wouldn’t have thought to look for or search beforehand. Great tour and great tour guide!

The highlight of our trip!
Our tour was fantastic! Lesley, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, telling us interesting stories and sharing the history of the city and the Garden District. The walk was perfectly paced, with a final stop in a lovely air conditioned shopping area. Lesley pointed out architectural details we would not have noticed ourselves. We could have just walked around the neighborhood, but hearing about the houses, the city, and its residents made it so much more special. This was a highlight of our trip to New Orleans!

Great historical tour
Ari was a great tour guide. I have been on many NOLA tours, and this was the best in my opinion. There was a lot of historical information provided, and not just the shocker ghost stories are are tired. The pace was very good, 10/10 recommend a tour with Ari!

Great Tour of the Garden Dist
Watch the weather report before you leave. We had a downpour at the end of our tour. I was grateful for my umbrella and raincoat. There is a very sweet cafe LePetite Blue at the end of the tour. Highly recommend
Great tour guide. Loved the historic mansions and live oaks

Amusingly Informative
We went to the 4pm tour. It was raining off and on with Tropical Storm Arthur lingering but it was so warm that the rain was refreshing. My kids liked it too, tho the rain irritated them because of their pretty hair lol -The guy that gave the tour taught more than I expected- a lot of things I didn’t know and he did it with humor. Each of the kids asked questions and were interested which takes a lot of skill. It was a nice time.

Loved the whole experience! "J" is amazing!
Walking and standing. Guild walkes the group to a spot, gathers all people, then starts narration. This allows for you to pay attention to both walking and the information. We loved "J"! She was very informative but more over she was funny and wanted us to have fun. She used person to person interactions to draw us into the stories. We passed other groups that did not seem to be having as much fun as us.

This was a wonderful tour...
This was a wonderful tour on the French quarters of New Orleans learning the history of the people who made up the community, it included information on the cathedral and the architect of the buildings and the designs in the housing and-ironwork. there were four of us in our group that attended the guided tour and it was done very professionally.

Food and History tour
This tour provided a good way to familiarize yourself with typical NOLA food and the food culture. We tasted gumbo, a shrimp po boy, alligator!, red beans and rice, pralines, and bread pudding. Beth was great, sharing food history, NOLA history and offered recommendations for dining for the rest of our stay. A good activity at the start of your trip

We really enjoyed this...
We really enjoyed this tour. Very interesting history & hauntings. Your guide was friendly too. We had to clip it shorter because the heat was unbearable for me wish we would've had the time to do the nighttime one but were leaving NOLA by a certain time. Would recommend though.

June 2026 Carriage Tour
Our tour guide was amazing! The way he told the stories was very interesting. He kept us all involved. Toward the end I of our you, he even asked if any of us needed to use a bathroom. Three of us needed a bathroom (I felt very grateful) so we hopped off, used the bathroom and hopped back on. This was my third carriage tour and all were wonderful. This was my very favorite one.

Absolutely Informative
Our Tour Guide Cynthia was very knowledgeable and a great host. She made everything seem so right on the moment as if though she was reading a book and bringing the story to life. She answered questions swiftly and was very articulate. Our Girls Trip was a success because of her.

Had difficulty at the...
Had difficulty at the beginning as one of the tour guides didn’t give clear instructions for meeting location and was 10 minutes later than he said he would be there. The other tour guide, Carolyn, was amazing and very informative. Would definitely recommend her as a tour guide!
