We ended up on a tour by ourselves but sadly we had to bail early due to the heat/humidity. The guide was knowledgeable and theatrical and gave us a quick run through of what we were going to miss so we could explore on our own. Just sorry we had to quit early. We would definitely book again.

The tour provided a deeper understanding of the history behind the culture, traditions, music, and communities that make New Orleans so distinctive. Jay’s storytelling offered an important perspective that is often overlooked, allowing us to better appreciate not only where New Orleans came from, but also the people whose contributions, struggles, and resilience are woven into the fabric of the city. This is an excellent must-do experience for anyone who wants to move beyond the typical tourist attractions and gain a more authentic understanding of the real culture, history, and people of New Orleans. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the city with greater depth, context, and appreciation.

Bob was so great! He was knowledgeable and the nicest guy! He took us all around the city. He shared stuff about Hurricane Katrina and the levies. He took us by celebrity homes. We saw mansions and shotgun houses. Highly recommend this tour, you’ll have a great time.
