What are people saying about New Orleans

Delish & Entertaining!
Fantastic food-better gumbo and jambalaya than we’ve had at restaurants in town so far. Chef “Gumbo Marie” was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and cooked some delicious food. I’ve never had bananas foster before, and it was absolutely delish! Highly recommend checking out this experience.

A Fantastic Food Tour with an Amazing Guide
We had an amazing time on this food tour! Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, incredibly patient, and very accommodating. Since none of us drank beer, he was happy to switch our beer tasting to cocktails, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The food we tried was delicious, and every stop offered something unique. Overall, it was a great way to experience the local food scene.
My only suggestion would be to include a few more food stops or add more street food bites. At around $150 per person, I think a little more variety would make the experience even better. A dessert stop would also have been a wonderful addition.
We ended up visiting three places instead of four, but that was partly on us—we got caught up watching the Colombia vs. Argentina football match! 😂
Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour. Great guide, great food, and a fun experience that's well worth doing when you're in Monterrey!

Tasty Tour with Nate
Nate did an amazing job of introducing us to interesting food and cocktails in New Orleans while also giving us information about New Orleans. We liked one of the restaurants so much we chose to go back there for dinner later in the week. The food portions were more than a bite and we had more than a full meal by the end of the tour.

Great tour by Graham
Our tour guide Graham was excellent! His knowledge on the history of the French Quarter and his delivery in his story telling was superb! I've been on many tours and his definitely stood out! I would recommend to anyone that wanted to have a fun evening being spooked, but also learning very interesting history.

You should go, it’s worth it.
I was very happy with the tour all around. I felt the selection was balanced, the distance was fine & our guide, Beth, was amazing.
She was a wealth of knowledge, not only about NOLA, but every state each tour participant was from, she knew some tidbit of history.
Really enjoyed all the information we learned. Will I remember it? Hopefully, but it was a lot.
We had a vegetarian in our group & each establishment catered to his needs.
The first restaurant was very nice, it was at the meeting spot 3rd Block Depot. We ate chicken & sausage gumbo. I didn’t think I liked gumbo, but it was good.
Then we were off the Pepper Palace. We had ice cream with spicy sauce. It was hot!
Then we went to Leah’s Prailine. The brittle was so good I had to buy some.
The toNola Poboys. We had catfish poboy, boudin ball (very good) and muffeletta.
Then to to Creole Cookery. The restaurant was so nice inside. Ate beans & rice and bananas foster. Both were very good.
I had zero Complaints & would recommend.

ONO - licious! Tasty!
Mid June may not be the most comfortable time to visit NOLA but the smaller number of tourist made our visit special.
Adam introduced us to the unique flavors and foods of this amazing city. Each bite was delicious and has a story of its own. His friendship with the vendors enhanced our serving size. We were quite full and happy.
The pace of the journey was so NOLA... easy and memorable. As we walked through the French Quarter, Adam shared stories about the history and culture.
We return to Kaua'i with a special appreciation for this historical and awesome city.

Taste Bud Food Tours is Excellent
Gisele was an amazing food tour guide! She gave us lots of information on the history of each dish and the restaurants we visited. Gisele is also very knowledgable about the history of New Orleans. It was a wonderful experience for myself and my wife to get to know the culture through food in this beautiful city.

Loving the Signature Tastes of New Orleans
The hubby and I were in New Orleans for a week for our 15th anniversary. We set up multiple food tours to get a feeling for different restaurants around the Quarter. We were extremely happy with the variety. We absolutely loved our guide, Duffy (Charles) , who had a wealth of New Orleans culinary history. He kept things interesting while we traveled from location to the 5 different locations.

Raffle Rocks!
My husband and I set up multiple food tours of the French Quarter for our wedding anniversary trip. We had Raffle as our guide and we loved his personality and the history he shared with us. We also enjoyed the fact that the restaurants were all part of the Oceana family.

Emily is awesome!!!
Emily is awesome!! We embarked on this tour our first morning in NOLA. Talk about starting our trip off amazing! She is inclusive, articulate, kind, and hilarious. It’s obvious she takes great pride in her city, and I have a feeling we only scratched the surface of her wealth of knowledge. She is the best kind of local, from storytelling to pointing out architecture and great places to eat and shop. She welcomed questions, and provided great descriptions of the treats. The tour is very well paced, we never felt rushed. We couldn’t have started our trip with a better experience.

The ratio of talking to...
The ratio of talking to eating is quite high. We tried four classic dishes: jambalaya, seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and red beans and rice. All very good. We got an extra 20-30 minutes of history on desserts but didn't try any. By that time it was muggy, we all had to pee, and we were ready to go. Don was great, friendly and knowledgeable, but a little less talking and a little more food would be ideal.
