Great way to explore local cuisine
This was a great food tour! Our guide Beth did a wonderful job describing the historical evolution of the region and it’s cuisine, while keeping all members of the group engaged. The food samples were diverse, delicious and plentiful. You will not leave hungry!

Great tour for a family!
This was a great informational tour about the spooky history of New Orleans. The Last Niun was an amazing guide. She was funny and gave interesting facts about several places we passed. My 2 teenagers enjoyed it and it is hard finding them anything that they like.

Food and History superbly Entertwined
Best , most enjoyable walking tour I’ve ever been on. As a foodie and history enthusiast and a first timer to New Orleans , this tour was perfect. We stopped 6 or seven times at venues and had traditional New Orleans samples , and as our tour guide said “food is history”. The restaurants and venues we stopped were all clean and excellent. Samples/servings of Boudin , gumbo , oysters , muffelata and many more were delicious. JACK , our guide was fantastic. A connoisseur and lover of history and food , he entertrined them smoothly. He was witty , and took special care to warmly interact with each person on the tour. Also was full of dining suggestions in town and other historical sites. I would do this again. 5 stars.

Great Food & Great Info
This is a great introduction to the food and culture of New Orleans. Our guide was Roger and he was once a history teacher and from NOLA. He was full of interesting information and knowledge. He was funny and a wonderful host. We went to several restaurants and finished with beignets - all of it was soooo good. He also gave great recommendations of other places to visit while here.

The New Orleans food tour...
The New Orleans food tour was a cool way to experience the city’s culture through its cuisine. Every stop featured delicious local staples that showcased the unique flavors and traditions of New Orleans. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the history behind each dish and offered recommendations that only a local would know. It was the perfect blend of amazing food, rich culture, and insider knowledge. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the authentic taste of New Orleans.

Delish & Entertaining!
Fantastic food-better gumbo and jambalaya than we’ve had at restaurants in town so far. Chef “Gumbo Marie” was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and cooked some delicious food. I’ve never had bananas foster before, and it was absolutely delish! Highly recommend checking out this experience.

Tasty Tour with Nate
Nate did an amazing job of introducing us to interesting food and cocktails in New Orleans while also giving us information about New Orleans. We liked one of the restaurants so much we chose to go back there for dinner later in the week. The food portions were more than a bite and we had more than a full meal by the end of the tour.

ONO - licious! Tasty!
Mid June may not be the most comfortable time to visit NOLA but the smaller number of tourist made our visit special.
Adam introduced us to the unique flavors and foods of this amazing city. Each bite was delicious and has a story of its own. His friendship with the vendors enhanced our serving size. We were quite full and happy.
The pace of the journey was so NOLA... easy and memorable. As we walked through the French Quarter, Adam shared stories about the history and culture.
We return to Kaua'i with a special appreciation for this historical and awesome city.

Loving the Signature Tastes of New Orleans
The hubby and I were in New Orleans for a week for our 15th anniversary. We set up multiple food tours to get a feeling for different restaurants around the Quarter. We were extremely happy with the variety. We absolutely loved our guide, Duffy (Charles) , who had a wealth of New Orleans culinary history. He kept things interesting while we traveled from location to the 5 different locations.

Emily is awesome!!!
Emily is awesome!! We embarked on this tour our first morning in NOLA. Talk about starting our trip off amazing! She is inclusive, articulate, kind, and hilarious. It’s obvious she takes great pride in her city, and I have a feeling we only scratched the surface of her wealth of knowledge. She is the best kind of local, from storytelling to pointing out architecture and great places to eat and shop. She welcomed questions, and provided great descriptions of the treats. The tour is very well paced, we never felt rushed. We couldn’t have started our trip with a better experience.

The ratio of talking to...
The ratio of talking to eating is quite high. We tried four classic dishes: jambalaya, seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and red beans and rice. All very good. We got an extra 20-30 minutes of history on desserts but didn't try any. By that time it was muggy, we all had to pee, and we were ready to go. Don was great, friendly and knowledgeable, but a little less talking and a little more food would be ideal.
