Amazing tour, informative and entertaining!
This was an informative and entertaining look at The Big Easy. We learned much about the effects of Katrina that we thought we already knew, and Gary was an outstanding tour guide. We was professional, funny, and very well informed. He made the tour worthwhile. Pro tip: take this tour early in your visit to New Orleans - you will learn a lot about what the 'don't miss' things are in the city.

Soulful Tour of New Orleans
The Tour guide, Dennis was so knowledgeable about the African American history, culture and influences of New Orleans. This is not a tour you can do independently. You must have professional, knowledgeable people who have a compassion to share information that is not in the history books.

Tony was great guide and driver
There are only two stops on the tour but the driver (Tony) was willing to make other stops, when possible, to take photos. The driver was great. Very informed with a good sense of humor. The tour did run longer than advertised but luckily it didn’t upset my plans. I would recommend this tour. Good value for the money. Don’t forget to have some cash on hand for a tip well deserved.

This plantation tour was...
This plantation tour was both informative and deeply reflective. As a Black woman living in America, I recognize that this museum tells the story of a time that shaped my ancestors’ lives. I felt the museum did an amazing job of honoring the lives and experiences of the enslaved people with dignity and respect. Throughout the tour, there were opportunities to sit, rest, and reflect, which were especially meaningful since some of the exhibits evoked deep emotions. I highly recommend visiting the Whitney Plantation to anyone seeking an honest and impactful look at this important part of American history. The Grey Line bus service also provided a friendly and knowledgeable driver, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable.
