This is a true walking tour around the cemetery district. Tips. 1-Get there early enough to have Beignets and a Cafe Au Lait. Best in the city. 2-Wear tennis shoes.

Fascinating tour

Drew was a great guide - knowledgeable and passionate. We learned so much about cemeteries and the local history. Came away with a greater understanding and appreciation of all things New Orleans. It’s 100% a walking tour so don’t expect anywhere to rest along the way. Wear good shoes! Most of the way is flat but one section of sidewalk was pretty rough - they do love their live oaks! We went at 1:15pm and there was also very little shade.

This was a great tour of not-St-Louis-#1. We learned so much and saw so much. We walked several cemeteries on a cool, breezy day and never felt cold. The history of New Orleans is so interesting and cemeteries are a great way to understand it!
