This was easily one of our favorite experiences on Maui. We have a family of 6 so it was nice to have a lesson all together. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our instructor “Wave Daddy” was a fantastic teacher and our kids had a blast learning to surf. The cove was a perfect spot for beginners. The pictures from the experience turned out awesome too. I would highly recommend this company anyone looking for some fun on your vacation.

We had an excellent experience with Maui Waveriders. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our instructor, Andrew, was phenomenal! He made it his mission that we stood on our boards and surfed! To our surprise, photos of us surfing were available for purchase at the end of the lesson!

Everything you need to start from no experience. The instructors are skilled and guide you. You can return later in the day and get equipment when the tradewinds pick up to try again after a rest

My 2 daughters had a semi private surf lesson with Wave Daddy. He was a top notch instructor and made it a very entertaining experience. The group lessons looked very crowded. The semi private was well worth the price.

Our instructor, Ben, was awesome! We are an older (40ish) couple who have always wanted to try surfing. Ben made it easy and we didn’t feel “old”. Both of us were able to stand up and catch our own wave by the end of the lesson. I also appreciated that Ben was looking out for us and making sure the situation was safe as the waters were pretty crowded with people. We had such a good experience, my husband went back the next day and rented a board to get more time in. We totally recommend Maui Wave Riders and Ben!
