Learn how to surf in a group setting with this lesson in Maui. The instructor-led group session begins with a land lesson that covers ocean safety and beginner-level steps. All participants must be able to swim and feel comfortable in the ocean on their own. There is a maximum of four students for every instructor, so you’ll receive personalized attention in a small group.

Family of 5 beginners worked with Steven, Devin and Tyler. Very knowledgeable and wonderful teachers! They were so patient and kind. Put us on some great waves and everyone in our group had the opportunity to get up and surf! I would highly recommend these guys.

We had a great time learning the basics of surfing. Devon was fantastic and would be a great instructor for any level of surfing. Of course, Mother Nature decides if you have great waves or not. Ours were lackluster but still super fun. Make sure you put sunscreen on the back of your legs!

Very nice intro to surfing. My 17 year old son enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the water was a bit crowded. But it is also near a nice outdoor mall to grab a coffee while you watch!

Our 2 teenagers took the group lesson. All the staff was very helpful and great for the kids. They were surfing as soon as they were in the water. I'd definitely recommend it to our friends and family!

We had a wonderful time with Sea Maui Surf! Our instructor was very knowledgeable and got us both standing. We would highly recommend booking your lessons with them if you are staying in Kaanapali.

Surfing with Danny was amazing! We had alot of fun! They provided us with water shoes, swim shirts, and a surf board! We got up on the first try thanks to Danny's instruction and help! We even saw turtles swimming around between waves. It was an incredible experience. There was even a photographer available for a fee to take photos of us surfing-which turned out amazing.

The paddling is the hardest part. You have to be in excellent physical condition to handle the paddling. Also, if you're prone to motion sickness, take a Dramomine before. But the teacher was very kind and did everything he could to be helpful.

Me and my 16 year old daughter did this together. It was a highlight of our trip! Our instructors were fantastic, and we both got up on our boards and surfed for the first time! If we had more time, we would have tried to do it again!!!

We had a great time with Sky and Steve as our instructors. Sky did a great job showing us the ropes before hitting the waves. My wife, 2 boys and I all got up and surfed the first wave. This was also our first time surfing an ocean wave. The waves were perfect and the instructors were great!
