Miguel(owner) communication skills were impeccable, the weather changed very quickly and he made me aware of the changes and kept me informed kudos for that Miguel.
Miguel (tour guide) whenever I travel I usually prefer to do a walking tour because you get to see people in every day life and ask questions as you go, however I opted for this tour which did include lots of walking also. Miguel the Historian arrived and jumped right into telling me about the various monuments we were passing along the drive from Lisboa to Sintra. I studied history so meeting someone equally in love with history and ensuring they are telling it even if some parts does not make the country they love look so beautiful. Miguel has a curiosity about him that made this tour so much fun and educational. We both even learned something new during the tour that I am excited for other guests to learn about it from Miguel.

An amazing tour with an awesome tour guide! Our tour guide Miguel has great english and is very interactive. The lunch is delicious and authentic. The timeline of the tour is very thought out and you see all the main Sintra sites in one day trip. Miguel is a great and safe driver as well. Best tour of Sintra!

This is an excellent tour. As a solo female traveler I was very comfortable.

Miguel is a very engaging tour guide and makes sure everyone feels included. Makes an effort to get to know each person and this also helps the other guests get to know each other. Doesn’t pressure anyone to do anything they don’t feel comfortable doing. Also very accommodating and adaptable to any changes needed from the group. He’s also very knowledgeable about the history of Sintra. He is a walking encyclopedia! We highly recommend Miguel as the tour guide if you want to get to know Sintra.

We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra. I spent way too long trying to plan a day trip on my own, but booking this tour was the best decision I could have made. Our guide took care of everything, including transportation, timing, and all the little details, so I could actually relax and enjoy the experience with my husband, two kids, and my mom. Although the itineraries for the Sintra tours are mostly similar, we felt very fortunate to have booked Miguel as our tour guide. He was friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. Every step of the way, he was exactly on time and handled all of the tricky parts of visiting Sintra, including the transportation, parking, and ticketing. His personal anecdotes and storytelling made the tour even more memorable. I especially noted that Miguel took the time to get to know each person on the tour, making sure that everyone’s needs and interests were accommodated. Carolina was a spectacular guide. She clearly loves connecting with her guests which showed in the care that she put into the details of her tour. We were given some options on the order of our stops to better suit our preferences, were helped with ordering and details at the lunch place (excellent choice with a great view and food), and she even went above and beyond to drop us off at our Vrbo nearby the original drop off location so we didn't need to take an additional Uber.
The tour hits a great variety of spots: Regaleria is beautiful but totally different from Pena Palace, throw in the westernmost point of Europe, a scenic lunch, some time spent in Sintra town for their famous pastries, and even a chance to see and learn about a cork tree and you have a tour that will hold most anyone's attention.
Highly recommend Carolina and this tour generally. Book it!

This was an overall amazing experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to visit the historical sites in and around Sintra. Miguel is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. The itinerary was well planned, and he provided sufficient time to take pictures and explore the sites on our own. The itinerary also included a lunch stop at a local restaurant with excellent service and a delicious selection of local seafood dishes. Miguel created an environment that made us feel like friends, instead of just customers. Memorable experience that I will recommend to my friends and family that wish to visit this beautiful country!
