This was a fantastic tour and the highlight of the cruise. Our guide was knowledgeable and he expertly maneuvered the lines and ticketed times at Pena Palace. When he dropped us back off in Lisbon, he recommended a great Cafe with a delicious bifana.

Amazing half-day tour in Sintra!

Our half-day tour of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace in Sintra with Filipe was truly unforgettable. Born and raised in Portugal, Filipe brought the history of his home to life in such a captivating way. The way he explained everything was so easy to follow that my partner and I felt like we were stepping right into the past and it was as if the walls and stones were speaking through him. Beyond his deep knowledge, Filipe’s warmth and friendliness made the experience even more special. He also knew all the best spots for photos and even captured incredible shots of us that we’ll cherish forever. By the end of the tour, it didn’t feel like we were saying goodbye to a guide, but to a new friend. The transportation was immaculate, comfortable, and seamless, which made the entire day stress-free. The half-day format was also perfect just the right amount of time to experience the magic of Sintra without feeling rushed. If you’re visiting Sintra, we couldn’t recommend Filipe more highly. He has a gift for storytelling and a genuine passion for sharing his culture, and he made our trip one we’ll remember forever.

Exceptional ! Louis was great💕! Saw Peña palace was suppose to see moorish castle but they closed early. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

An enjoyable visit despite poor visibility due to fog

Our guide Luís provided an excellent service. He gave us plenty of relevant information & history & was very good company. We enjoyed Pena Palace & Sintra in spite of thick fog which meant that visibility was very limited. Luís had not been advised that the Moorish Castle was included but was willing to take us there. However upon arrival it was decided not to enter as the effects of the fog could make the climb dangerous. The travel time & visits done took 5 hours without the Castle visit.

A brilliant experience!

This tour was the absolute highlight of our stay in Lisbon. Felipe picked us up at our hotel and on the way to Sintra explained in a really interesting way the history of what we were about to see. He had the morning really well planned and we got into Pena Palace with no time wasted. We felt that without his expertise we wouldn’t have had a real understanding of this amazing place. We then walked to the Moorish castle, which was hard work but well worthwhile for the breathtaking views. It was like being taken round by a knowledgeable friend and we recommend him wholeheartedly.
