Really great experience, we made things we never tried before. The chef was really nice and gave lots of tips along the way. We got lucky to be just the 2 of us and the chef, so it was nice to have all the attention of the chef. Would really recommend it.

Nice cooking class

We booked the place for a team building session among colleagues. We really had a lot of fun experiencing new recipes, helping each other, swopping teams in order to help finishing on time and finally siting down to eat the three dishes we cooked together.

No stress cooking

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our class. The chef/instructor was pleasant and told us about the history of the food we were preparing, as well as having us participate in its preparation. The class was small (5 people), and the kitchen was in a unique location adjacent to an old church in the Chiado neighborhood of Lisbon. There was no stress to perform heroic feats of culinary adeptness. In fact, the atmosphere felt more like an interesting and relaxing conversation in someone's home. We left relaxed and well fed. I highly recommend this class to anyone who is looking to learn about Portuguese food, as well as spend a few hours enjoying good food, good wine, and good company.

Eigenlijk ben ik niet tevreden over deze ervaring. Wij hebben 65 euro per persoon betaald en dat is veel geld. Waar bij de workshop begeleider geen uitleg gaf, recepten gaf die niet klopte en de workshopbegeleider wou het eigenlijk het liefste allemaal zelf doen. Hij proefte de heletijd ons eten en likte zijn vingers af. Ik baal van deze ervaring omdat we er wel 325 euro voor hebben neer gelegd, ik zou het netjes vinden als jullie ons hierin tegemoet kunnen komen.

Kein Kochkurs - Preis und Leistung stimmt nicht

Netter Koch mit ein paar lustigen Geschichten. Leider eine sehr einfache Menüauswahl mit möglichst günstigen Zutaten. Kaum gekocht, nur zugeguckt. Wirklich gut essen geht in Lissabon besser und günstiger als hier. Wer wirklich kochen will ist in diesem Workshop auch falsch. Das Prinzip den Umsatz zu maximieren wird auf die Spitze getrieben, indem die Küche in einem normalen Haushaltswarengeschäft ist. Nicht zu empfehlen

As for the class in an Hardware store (i am using google translate from German, so not sure it is exactly like that), we have some small brands corner in our workshops stores, and that usually is something apreciated when visitin our Porto and Lisbon spaces and more suited for our more relaxed and cultural oriented classes.
