The description on the website makes it seem like this is a group activity. The “class” was just me and was hosted at a salsa club near the beach. It was just me and the instructor for the “class”. The instructor was very nice and knowledgeable about dance and all the dance opportunities around Lisbon. However as it is a club she also spent a lot of time dancing with her friends who were also at the club. I danced with her for maybe 3 songs. She was supposed to teach me moves for a group dance that was happening later that night. As she was distracted with dancing with other people that did not happen. For me this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing (as I have dance experience and am a quick learner), however it was not what I was sold. The experience I had was not worth what I paid. While I did have fun, I would definitely not pay to do something like this again I would just check out the local clubs. If you’re looking for a dance class where you can learn and practice a new kind of dance this is not the experience for you. Also they sent me a picture of me dancing with the instructor that only has my back in it. You can only see the instructors face and it was the only picture I was sent. As aforementioned it is not worth the price and it is non-refundable. Paying the 15eu entrance to the club and dancing with new people would have been just as effective and fun.
