An Evening of Fado, Flavor, and Connection

We spent an unforgettable evening with Humberto, a warm and gracious host. The soulful Fado music and delicious food—especially his marinated olives—set the perfect atmosphere. Through stories and songs, we discovered the culture and history of this beautiful tradition. More than just learning, it became a heartfelt gathering, where host, musician, and guests shared moments together. For one night, we truly felt part of Portugal. A magical experience I wholeheartedly recommend.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this event. It was like visiting a friend's home. Several of his friends are professional fado performers. We sat around and enjoyed their impromptu performance up close. There are also delicious traditional grilled sausages, snacks and wine. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
