Total rip off

Pats_F, Nov 2024
We learned nothing about Food. Waited 20 min for a ferry, had cold soup and shrimp pasties cold! Had to wait for Ferry, walk for miles, no food or drink, no information about Lisbon food, next apparent stop was "closed". Had severe sugar drop and weakness. Called an end to the tour after 2 hours. It was an absolute disgrace. €80 each, we had about €6 worth of food, and a ferry ticket.

Meh at best

Natalya_B, Jul 2024
Meh. Guide did not understand the needs of our large group, food stops left room to enjoy and food was largely commercial - these tours are meant to help you discover the spots locals enjoy and this was just the opposite. Please skip.

Response from Host, Aug 2024

Hi Natalya_B! 😊 We appreciate your feedback on our Lisbon Food Walking Tour. We're sorry that the experience didn't fully meet your expectations. We understand that the extreme weather conditions that day (40 degrees) may have affected the group's experience, especially for older participants. Our guide made adjustments to the route, such as changing the location to taste ginjinha, with everyone's comfort and well-being in mind. Regarding the selection of food locations, we aim to offer a mix of establishments that represent authentic Lisbon cuisine. We understand that for frequent visitors, some of these places may already be familiar. We greatly value our customers' feedback as it helps us continuously improve our services. If you'd like to share more details about your experience, please don't hesitate to contact us at reviews@thecooltours.com. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience in the future. Best regards, The Cooltours - Lisbon Team 🚶‍♂️🍴

Not enough street/ market/ real food.

Andrew_B, Jun 2022
I wanted a street food/ market place kind of tour. This was not that. The guide was fabulous. But the food disappointing.

The perfect guide.

Alexandra was a wonderful guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to be showing us her city.
