Great beers, great locations. Transportation was clean, upscale, and spacious. Bryan is awesome! Great tour, must do in Anchorage!
Such a fun tour! Bryan is a great host and selected three "away from downtown" breweries. Great tour at King St, Excellent charcuterie board at MIdnight Sun , great tastes at Cynosure. It was wonderful to have recommendations for samples, but also freedom to try other pours.
I enjoyed getting to meet brewers at two of the stops. Very friendly and open to questions. Food was good and beers were excellent.
Had a blast and learned a lot about the local breweries we visited. Great way to spend a few hours on our rest day. Highly recommend this brewery tour.
Three very different breweries: excellent education of brewing process to start with 5+ samples; charcuterie board with second; and intimate time with owner at the eclectic third. Many wonderful tastes!

This was a great tour. Bryan has made great relationships with the local brewers, so we were treated very well. We had the scheduled tastings at all of the three places, but if we wanted something extra, Bryan made sure we got it. He was very accommodating. The first stop was very technical and informative, so there wasn't much time to interact with the group. At the second and third stop, we got to simply enjoy the beer and food, and our group started to interact. By the end of the third stop, we were really enjoying each other's stories and trading pictures of the experience (I'm sure the beer helped). I would strongly suggest this tour.
Brian was our tour guide and he made our brewery tour very enjoyable and one of the highlights of our trip to Anchorage.
Brian created a fantastic tour of three wonderful breweries in the Anchorage area. The behind the scenes tours, the delicious charcuterie board, meeting the owners, tasting all kinds of new craft beer flavors, meeting new friends and the luxury ride made this the best tour ever. I highly recommend Brian and his brewery tour.
Truly a wonderful experience! Bryan was an awesome tour guide and provided 3 great breweries to tour. Each place had different but unique beers to try. All of the brewers working at the sites were so knowledgeable and certainly kept it lively. You definitely will not be thirsty on this beer tour! 10/10 recommend
This was a great tour! Brian picked interesting, fun breweries which were all a little different. The beer was great at all of our stops, and he had lots of great insight on the local micro brew industry and Anchorage in general. If you like beer, this is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon - highly recommend!
This was the best brewery tour we’ve ever attended. The brewer did an amazing job presenting the information and explaining the differences between beers. Also, EVERY beer we tried on the tour tasted great. Our guide, Bryan, made great suggestions for us to try and everyone loved them.
Bryan led our tour and took us to three breweries in the greater Anchorage area. Bryan has a unique passion for beer, and I learned a few things that I didn't know. At our first stop we sampled beers and climbed-up onto the brewing deck with the brew master to learn about their beer making process. I've taken many brewery tours in my days, in many countries, but this one was more personal and because the brew master was passionate it made for a great experience. At our third stop we sat down with the brewery owner and learned what it's like to start up and run your own commercial brewery; what a fantastic experience. At each stop along the way, in-between the beer flights that we selected, Bryan would add additional selections that he thought were unique to each of the three breweries. Another interesting aspect of this tour was Bryan's knowledge of the beers being brewed at each brewery. For example, we'd be sitting there sampling our beers and the subject of our favorite type of wine or whiskey or fruit would come up and Bryan would disappear and come back with a bottle of beer that he thought we might like based on our wine or whiskey preference-and they turned out to be quite good choices. I'd recommend this tour to my family and friends, and to you, the person reading this review right now.

We loved the tour. It was very well organized, and we got to sample a lot of really tasty beer and snacks. The group we were with was a lot of fun, great time all around. The price seems very fair for the amount of beers we got to sample, the brewery tours and the charcuterie board that is provided.
10/10 would recommend to those who are looking for a cool local experience. Breweries we went to are great, but it’s the people that make it fantastic. Bryan, our guide, is knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel like we knew him for ages.
Awesome tour for all beer enthusiast.. strongly recommended. Host has passion for beer craft and he explains it and recommend you beer based on your preferences. This was highlight of my Anchorage trip .

Our guide was a very knowledgeable 18-year veteran of the local brewing industry and knew the owners and staff of the breweries visited.

Enjoyed the explanations of how beer is brewed, from how the barley malts are harvested to how important it is to put the raw ingredients together just right for the brewing process. The staff and tour guide were so kind and amazing. I felt happy throughout my trip experience.

Brian was a knowledgeable guide, every brewery was gracious and exuded passion for what they do. You can tell that the brewery world is a tight knit community. Would recommend to all!
Guide/driver was helpful and courteous. All three breweries selected had excellent beers, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and interesting facilities. From geeking out on beer chemistry at one brewery to having staff at another poke fun at the person who "is too into chemistry" by claiming "I just make beer".
Brian was a great guide and each brewery was welcoming. The beers were tasty and the other people on our tour a riot. Definitely recommend this tour.
Brian was great! The trip was fun and knowledgeable. Great for those who want to learn the different types of beer, brewing process, history of the breweries you’re going too, and everyone is nice that you meet.

From start to finish this was a fantastic trip, originally they thought they would have to cancel, but worked with us to keep it going given how much we had looked forward to it. Throughout the process they communicated in advance and so clearly. And given the experience, so glad it happened!
The energy from the moment we met up with the bus was high and positive! She kept it fun and engaging. We did 3 breweries, each stop was ready for us when we got there and had someone designated to give us our tours and of course taste. The setup was perfect with the fuller presentation at the first brewery, extended tour and tasting...the second stop, still a tour but a bit shorter, tasting and some nibbles, and the last stop was a smaller shop with tastings! Throughout she stayed engaged and ensured all guests, even a non-drinker in the group, were taken care of. Truly a great team running this company delivering a very positive and fun event!
This was very well done with visit to three local breweries via nice van. Guide was knowledgeable and met brew masters at each. Backstage tour of the inner workings of the brewery with education on how beer is made. Highly recommended for an afternoon in anchorage.
This was the first tour of our 9 day trip. What a great introduction to the Alaska brewery scene and the many folks involved that take pride in their work. The host driver, and owner, of Big Swig Tours did everything in his power to make us feel at home with the industry and the people behind the scenes. This is a don't miss experience if you love craft beers. There was even a lady on our tour that didn't drink beer and she had a great time too. This tour is worth your money and time!
If you like a good beer this tour is for you. Brian from Big Swig Tours is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide and his enthusiasm is infectious. The background tours of the 3 breweries was fascinating and the samples and snacks enjoyed immensely. Definately recommend this tour.
