An absolutely unforgettable Alaska experience!

Absolutely amazing experience! We saw three whales, bald eagles, Mendenhall Glacier and hiked out to beautiful Nugget Falls. I honestly could have sat there all day just taking it all in! The tour was well organized, the guides were great, and the entire day was unforgettable. Definitely one of the highlights of our Alaska trip and something I would 100% recommend!

We had an AMAZING time! It was super easy to find, the check-in crew could have an attitude adjustment but the tour itself redeemed the entire check in experience. Griffin was INCREDIBLE! We would come back just to have him as one of our guides again. Entertaining, saw 5 beautiful whales, educational, and he made it so much fun! We also highly appreciated all the knowledge of both Justin and Kace had!! All around amazing tour. Plus the bus ride was also incredible with so much history of the city shared.

Fantastic experience.

Amazing experience with captain Steve, Aiden and Coral. Started out as a typical whale watch which we were too far to get any good pictures but as our tour went on we got closer and saw orcas and a bubble feeding! We stayed out a few minutes longer to catch this beautiful experience surrounded by glaciers and mountains everywhere and for a glimpse of Mendenhall glacier. Stunning photos. Boat was newer and excellent up be on. Get on early if you want upstairs deck as there are only 6 seats but if inside was plenty of opportunities to go outside. The captain got great photos of the orcas and the bubble feeding pictures snd sent to us immediately upon completion of the trip-free. They came out better than mine so was glad to get them!

Rainy day at Mendenhall

Our tour guide was great. He provided lots of interesting information. The tour provided the perfect amount of time for a group of nine with 2 small children to enjoy the glacier and waterfall. Due to the rain, I wish there had been more than a small covered area to wait for the trolley at the end of the excursion. We had to stand in the rain because there was no covered space available. We had a longer wait than expected because the trolley was running late to the pick up spot, for reasons out of the guide’s control.

Breathtaking scenery, Historic charm, memorable adventure

Booking was easy, especially with the option to cancel and get a full refund. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views from the plane were incredible and honestly took my breath away. The lodge itself has a lot of history, and there are a few walking trails to explore after lunch. We also had an amazing view of the glacier across the river. I would highly recommend this tour if it's the only one you chose to do. The food was okay, but that's not the reason to go-the scenery, glacier, and the overall experience were what made this excursion so memorable.

No dolphins but lots of whales! Lots of fun.

This excursion, while not part of a cruiseline experience was phenomenal and well worth it. It starts with a short walk to the Gold line Tram building. You want to be underneath of the wires on the parking lot side of the building and find thepeople holding a blue sign with yellow letters that say dolphin jet boat tours. You then take a short bus ride to a harbor. They load you up on a jet boat which for the ride out there is fully enclosed. Super comfortable. Couple of bumpsdeom waves. there's a naturalist on board telling you lots of different things about the area. The island that your circumnavigating whales and other Marine animals. I was really surprised about how well the other captains on board worked together to find the best whales to make the experience as good as it can be for the people on board the boats. When we do find whales they open up the hatches and allow folks to go outside and review the wildlife. At the end of the tour everybody comes back inside. We zip right back to the harbor. Then we board back on the bus. Then they take us over to the MendenHall glacier visitor center and we go and visit that location. The Mendenhall glacier as quickly melting and receding, so we were lucky to see it in our lifetime. Did I mention hot chocolate and coffee and snacks on the boat?

Captain Allan and First Mate Tamara were absolutely amazing and made this adventure this best one of our vacation. What an amazing day we had on the water. Captain Allan even alerted us to a full humpback breach just in time for us all to take in the experience. 10 out of 10 adventure with these guys.
