You have to try this if in the Cumber Island area
I took my daughter 4 years ago and had a blast so I can to take my wife this time. We saw dolphins, alligators, spoonbill birds, wild horses and a manta ray. Captain Bill Quick was great. Saw more of the area this time than last so that was awesome. The boats are fun to drive. Be ready to get wet though.

Escaping the Legend of the Yeti
We are always up for a challenge. We did have more fun two weeks ago with the Playground collaborating with another group. This weekend, we tried the Legend of the Yeti. It was still fun, despite this group we worked with. The staff as always is always so pleasant and helpful. We will be back again in another two weeks!!!!!
On to another adventure!

Fabulous kayaking tour!
This was the most amazing kayak experience ever! Madeline and Rob are wonderful teachers and guides. The Lofton Creek area was like being in the bayou. It was beautiful and just and overall wonderful experience. The equipment was in great condition. No problems from booking to finish.

Sooo fun. Highly recommended. Cool ride
Hugh our guide was phenomenal. This was so much fun and we went to so many cool places. It was one of the best ways you could go around and see all of the stuff on the island easily and quickly. Our guide was awesome at giving us information and explaining everything and narrating.
Great tour highly recommend you do this and so much fun

Sweet Pete's is worth the visit
A fun store to visit, with a cool restaurant and lots of great treats. The tour, given by Pete, the owner, took us through all three floors of the shop, and gave us insights on the building of the business, the making of chocolate, and a bit of the history of the location. A definite must-visit when in Jacksonville.

True Southern Hospitality
OMG! The most fun we ever had on a tour. Our tour guide Shay was absolutely wonderful! So funny and informative, ready to answer our questions and such a southern belle! Very accommodating and courteous. I will bring more friends to this tour very soon again.
Way to go Shay!

Go to Sweet Pete’s!
Sweet Pete’s is always perfectly and meticulously decorated, and the staff is very friendly. We have taken 2 classes now, and this was like the other- a staff member did the work and we decorated (or in this case made the shape of the candy canes). Nonetheless, it has always been worth the money. However, I am removing a star because we weren’t on their list despite purchasing tickets at least 2 months in advance. I had to tell the woman at the check-in counter twice that we purchased through Viator (even showing her our tickets) rather than Groupon, twice. She then called someone for help and the other woman sounded very annoyed and didn’t want to let us in the class, but I was able to prove that we pre-paid, so she let us in. Hopefully this was a one-time problem. I’m chalking it up to the busyness of the holidays.

Captain Dan truly made...
Captain Dan truly made this experience unforgettable! His expertise, enthusiasm, and genuine care for our group turned a simple outing into a remarkable adventure. From sharing fascinating insights about the surroundings to ensuring everyone felt comfortable and engaged, his passion was infectious. We are incredibly grateful for the time we spent with him and the memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

Go open air!
Fun and “breezy” self tour of the old town, downtown and Fort Clinch park.
Suggestions-
-arrive in time to review the waiver if booking with a third party. Read it.
- this is not like driving a golf cart! A test drive is conducted prior to doing own self tour to determine skill and ability.
- you can go back and view the fort property and museum later in the day on the ( self -pay ) entrance ticket of $4 ( considered a motorcycle). The park is a good place to start the tour to get accustomed to driving.
- driver is given an Apple Maps link pins for points of interest and highlights. Must look up own historical information .
Logan was the staff member who met us for the excursion. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle and town as he is a local.
He recommended restaurants and other things to do after the trip.
