When searching for things...

When searching for things to do in Whistler, I stumbled upon this bear tour that also combined time at Olympic event sites. Our tour guide was Mike and we were picked up right on time. We traveled about 15 minutes down the road to view a waterfall and then entered into a heavily forested area to begin our search for bears. We actually lucked out and saw a bear on the side of the road before we even entered the park but as we searched inside the gates, Mike entertained us with bear facts and knowledge of the area. The jeep we were in handled the backroads with ease and it was neat having the top down for better viewing. Once inside the park, we did see a pretty shy bear that took off running and then headed over to see the Olympic biathlon and ski jump venues. We had time to take pictures and see the jumps from an athletes point of view. Just as the evening was winding down and the sun was starting to set, a call came in that a bear was in the area. The guides expertly lined the jeeps up and we were privileged to stay and watch a female bear for quite awhile as she explored the area. An overall fantastic way to end the day in beautiful Whistler! Highly recommend.

He also accompanied us at Shannon Falls, the gondola and at Whistler making sure we knew what to see that were interesting to us. Although it was raining, we still had a great time and experience! Exciting Tour, Awesome Pilot, Accommodating Staff!

The views from the helicopter tour were amazing! Our pilot, Edwin, was very informative about the area, and he made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Our initially scheduled time was hindered by the weather… the cloud layers kept dropping and heavy rain was in the forecast. Edwin advised that we should try to reschedule as it wouldn’t be worth it to fly low level, so we were able to reschedule for the next day. If weather is ever the issue, you will have the option to reschedule or get a refund, no problem! They are very accommodating!! This was our first ever helicopter ride, and we couldn’t be happier about the entire experience. We highly recommend!

We had a blast! The restaurant stops were very good but more importantly, the company and our host Carol, made the night one to remember. The concept is just the kind of thing you want for a vacation, a little indulgent and a little adventurous. Carol is a fabulous host, not only is she generous with her knowledge about Whistler, but she is also welcoming and engaging with every participant. This was an excellent way to get our bearings in Whistler, visit a few delightful restaurants and spend an evening out with new friends.

What a fantastic experience. Everything was really well organised and the staff were friendly. Kala was an amazing guide, we absolutely flew around and had a blast. The group was small, only 3 atv's and Kala took photos and videos of us driving the atv's. Full wet weather gear is provided. I definitely should've taken the gloves! Come the end my hands were like frozen claws!!

We had an amazing morning...

We had an amazing morning exploring the Whistler area on the hunt for a bear sighting. We ended up seeing a black bear toward the end of the tour. Paul was an exceptional tour guide and very engaging to chat with. He is super knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We would definitely recommend doing this tour!
