A memorable experience

This was a fantastic tour, and Kevin was an incredible guide! He shared so many interesting stories, and his local knowledge gave everything a personal touch. We could have sat and listened to him talk all day! The absolute highlight of the tour was seeing a male moose casually wandering down the road near Maligne Lake. What an unforgettable experience! We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

We saw moose close up!!

Nice little bus tour with constant narration by the driver. We saw all the animals we were hoping to - big horned sheep very close, elk from a distance and then three moose very close to the bus. Emily gave good commentary but could maybe slow down on rough, winding roads.

Maligne Lake tour: highly recommended

The views are fantastic, and the colour of the water is hard to put into words. You have to see it for yourself. Logan told us he was a rookie at tours, but you would never have guessed it. His knowledge of the wildlife around us was impressive, and he explained everything in a way that was technical yet simple to follow. I used to be a tour guide myself, so I notice these things, and I loved how Logan handled the whole tour, including every question people asked him. Overall, a big cheers to Logan. I hope many more people get as lucky as I did with a tour of Maligne Lake.

Maligne Lake is a glacier fed lake with brilliant glacial colours, and during our brilliantly sunny day many of the glaciers we completely visible! Our beautiful October afternoon also displayed many colours from the leaves on the vegetation. Absolutely a world class tour!

Even if you have an...

Even if you have an appointment they can accommodate you almost whenever you want to go up or down. The Tram is crowded but a short trip and the guide is informative and funny! When we went up it was foggy and snowing! Very enjoyable, as two of us are from Colorado and love winter weather! The cafe had about the best mocha I’ve had in a long time! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Loved it!

A fantastic tour with an amazing guide

Logan just gave us the best tour of our travels so far, and we've done a lot of tours! His knowledge and enthusiasm was second to none and he went above and beyond to show us as much wildlife as possible. He was also a very friendly and helpful, and a good driver (which always helps!). We saw moose, a bald eagle, chipmunks, red squirrels and a deer. Logan also showed us various plants in the forest and gave us sooooo much interesting information about the wildlife, wildfires and Jasper's history. He's a real asset to the company. Thank you Logan.

Wow experience!

Wow! Loved it. Such a great activity and well organised by tour provider. Suitable for almost anyone. Court was our guide and did a fantastic job rafting down the river, chatting with everyone; sharing stories about Jasper and happy to answer questions. So much fun getting splashed and being a warm day it was refreshing. A memorable experience and a highlight of our time in Jasper.

We travelled from Jasper to Lake Louise on the sight seeing bus tour. The journey was beautiful and our driver was excellant. He gave us very interesting information through out the journey. His knowledge of the area and of the environment in the national park was amazing. I learnt alot. A very courteous driver who made sure everyone on the bus was fine and looked after us through out the journey. We did the glacier and sky walk, which were both amazing sites to see. We stopped at the stunning Peyto Lake. The landscapes and the lakes through out the journey were incredible. This tour was a perfect way of getting to Lake Louise from Jasper. Sundog operators do a grand job. The pick up through to drop off at the end of the one way journey was very smooth. I feel we were very lucky to have the driver we did. I learnt alot on that day and he spoke with so much passion about jasper national park, its history, all the different mountains, forest trees, lakes and glaciers. Absolutely loved our trip and would use Sundog every time. Their communication leading upto the day trip was great and reassuring. I wish i remembered the name of our driver as he really did make our journey interesting and gave us a beautiful and memorable ride all the way.

A fantastic experience!...

A fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to have Jan as our tour guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny and has an excellent eye for spotting the wildlife! We opted for the hike instead of the Lake cruise and it was a great decision in our opinion as Jan took a smaller group of us for a hike through part of the forrest around the Lake. He was able to answer all the groups questions while giving a detailed history lesson of the Lake and surrounding area. He was also able to identify a wide variety of plants and even animal tracks in the mud. Over the course of the whole tour we were lucky enough to see Moose, Deer, Elk, Bald Eagles and Osprey, all while taking in the scenery of the national park and the devastation that the 2024 forrest fires caused. We would recommend this trip to anyone and would also recommend any of the other trips that Sundog Tours offer as they have such friendly and knowledgeable staff working for them.

Magnificent Drive from Jasper to Banff!! An Unforgettable Experience!!

My friend and I were fortunate to be a part of this amazing drive from Jasper to Banff. Shaun, our guide was funny, an eloquent speaker and an experienced guy with a lot of knowledge. He shared his first hand experience of the Jasper fire in 2024. He kept all of us engaged all through the 10 hours. The stop at the Columbia Icefield was truly memorable and unforgettable. The view was breathtaking. We drove on what is claimed to be the most beautiful scenic drives in the world - clear blue sky, the endless highway, snow capped mountains and the green vegetation. Absolutely gorgeous 🥰. The photos don't do any justice to what the naked eye witnessed to be remembered for a lifetime. I definitely recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Jasper and Banff National Parks.

Winter Wildlife tour

We were picked up from our hotel by a very friendly lady driver who took us to various locations around Jasper. We got to see lots of lovely scenery and animals the best of which was a black bear. He was eating Berries on the side of the road. Keeping a respectful distance we had lots of time to watch the bear and take photos. This was the highlight of the trip. We also saw elk, longhorn sheep, bald head Eagles including juveniles. Also Osprey and squirrels. Would definitely recommend this tour. It's well worth it.
