A Great Day Out in Nature and on the Water

We were fortunate that we had beautiful weather for both the wildlife and lake tours. Owen was our guide for the wildlife tour, and he was engaging, fun, knowledgeable, and respectful of the animal world. Finding animals is all about luck, and because Owen knew where to take us, we were thrilled to have seen a bunch. Thanks, Owen! For the Maligne Lake tour, we enjoyed the company of our host and guide, Asher, and the ship's captain, Sydney. Seeing the beautiful lake surrounded by glorious mountains was a fantastic experience. Incredible experience! Once in a lifetime

Had the best experience hiking the Athabasca glacier. So much more meaningful to take the challenging way up rather than just ride the ice bus up to take pictures. Nick was such a great guide, super knowledgeable and caring for the group. You actually get to walk on ice!!! Not an easy hike (intermediate) but definitely worth every step!

Rain did not dampen our day

Although the weather was bleak our tour guide Jake was a shining light. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area, wildlife and their habits. He also explained and showed us the effects of fire in the forest across time which was very interesting. Loved the hike around the lake in spite of the mud but thankfully I had made the correct shoe choice with waterproof hikers. We saw Eaglets in the nest and their ever watchful parents nearby, also Osprey in nest, Moose, Elk and Squirrel. After our walk had the best waffles ever! Definitely value for money.

Good, friendly...

Good, friendly knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us all about the local wildlife lin the area. He drove us to all the wildlife hotspots around the national park. Unfortunately the weather was not conducive for wildlife viewing due to the rain so we struggled to find much wildlife out bracing the elements. We did see a group of 4 adult elks with 2 calves seeking shelter from the rain in a clearing close to the road. As the rain slowed and eventually eased we were able to find another group of elks coming out of the woods to graze. Overall a good experience thanks to our knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us so much about the area, the wildlife and the ecosystem of the national park. *Note* For anyone wanting a walking/hiking tour this is not it, you will be in an AC mini bus with a guide on a small group tour around the national park. This was found out by one of the other couples on the tour who expressed that they wanted a guided hike and had been booked on the wrong tour. They seemed fine by the end of the tour however they did say it was not clearly advertised.

He took the time to explain the glacier, answer questions, and ensure everyone in the group was comfortable. Travel to the top of the world!

A fun ride to the top of the mountain. There are only two trams, moving in opposite directions, and my ride up was quite crowded. At the top, you can choose to hike up a rocky, snowy mountain, so be prepared for that! I opted to have a meal at the restaurant (which only serves food after 5:30). A fun activity and I would highly recommend.

great family friendly trip down the river

This was such a great expirience. My kids first whitewater adventure (12, 9, &8). it was super low key and not scary at all, but enough splashing and moving water to keep them interested. Wear swimsuits (they give you wetsuits to put on over them), and bring a towel. Molly was our guide and she was WONDERFUL.

A must do experience

Amazing experience. The bus driver Sophie and guide Chiara went above and beyond to make the experience special. Every detail was perfect. Walking on the glacier was the highlight of my 13 day trip Sam our ice Bus driver was also terrific. This is a must do and using Brewster company is a must.
