Informative and Entertaining Morning full of Perfect Views

Easy trip with an informative and entertaining guide, Joseph. He had fun and was personable without overdoing it (which can sometimes make tours a bit awkward). Highlight was his extemporaneous "The New Colussus." My daughter has a History degree and likes to "catch" people's historical errors but had nothing negative at all to say about his facts. Well worth the money, especially if you don't know much about the history of either stop.

Our Guide was very knowledgeable and kept the pace telling us where to look, giving some background of what we were seeing. The content was tilted toward how the city has addressed, or coped with, problems of density: water, sewage, affordability for lower (not so much middle) income residents, law enforcement . . . Sometimes the boat moved faster than the narrative. For example, our group noticed there was no mention of the United Nations Building.

Fascinating look at how hard the city of NY and its’ brave heroes from the FDNY, NYPD, emergency services and general public all came together at such a tragic part of our human history. Definitely worth the visit and remember the brave souls and victims of this inexcusable tragedy. A reminder to us all human beings to love, respect and be tolerant.

It is an amazing window...

It is an amazing window into the beauty that is New York. You can go over most of the city in half a day. Especially when you are traveling solo, you meet a bunch of new amazing people and get to enjoy this experience. Tour guide Tom is very informative and a lovely gentleman. This was the highlight of...

This was the highlight of our trip to the city!! The boat is absolutely beautiful, clean and so elegant! The staff were so friendly and the captain did an amazing job of describing different things we saw along the way. He made sure to pause near the Statue of Liberty so we could get great photos too! You get one complementary drink and there are thoughtful snacks available for purchase. We got the cheese plate and the portions were very generous and it was just a nice finishing touch and went great with a glass of wine! Can’t recommend this tour more!!

Cruise to Ellis island

We enjoyed the cruise. Mike the tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. However we were rushed on the boat even though we had 10 minutes to board. People wanted to stop outside and the workers were rude. Then people kept getting in trouble for having their umbrellas open outside. To the point that the tour guide was yelling at them and we could all hear it.

The ride was surprisingly smooth even though the water was choppy. For those who did not like the cold the interior was nice and warm. The crew was awesome and also recognized me and husband's birthday with other upcoming birthdays by having every one aboard sing for us😍

It's well worth the...

It's well worth the experience to see New York at fading day light switching too night time as the city comes alive even more. The area for viewing wasn't over crowded so you could take as many photos as you needed. They also had seating if you wanted to take a little break in between or just to sit and admire the view from inside.
