Well worth the money

My friends and I throughly enjoyed the cruise. We were not among the first people who boarded, and we're a bit disappointed that we couldn't get seats on the outside deck. We wanted to be outside, so we chose to stand for the cruise-not the most comfortable for 3 seniors. The narration was very good.

Meeting point link incorrect!!! Sumter is not to be missed!

Meeting point GPS link takes you to the wrong place. We missed our ferry time because of this. Viator was able to reschedule our tours for the day. Pretty decent service recovery. If we did not have flexibility in our schedule that day it would’ve been a disaster.

Historically Interesting & Fun For All Ages

Our guide told us some interesting historical facts while riding the carriage around this old section of Charleston. He had a good sense of humor and made folks laugh and have a good time. I highly recommend this to people visiting Charleston. Sorry, I don't remember his name but the horse's name was Mason.

Amazing time thanks to Captain Chris!

Our family had a wonderful time out on the water with Captain Chris!! He was very knowledgeable about the history, sealife, and ecosystem of the area while also providing a really smooth ride out to Morris Island lighthouse. It makes such a difference to have a tour guide who is actually a native of the area. We had plenty of time to walk the beach on the island and take pictures near the lighthouse. We saw lots of dolphins throughout the trip!!

Don’t schedule dinner afterwards!

Excellent exposure to different styles of local food. Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Do note that adult beverages are extra, as are any food items you might want to order in addition to those included (like oysters!). Easy to walk, and the tour explored more of the local history and culture than just food.

Fun experience

This was a great experience. It was not a guided tour but more of a sail boating experience, although the staff was more than happy to answer any questions you had. The captain and his crew members made it an inclusive experience by allowing volunteers to assist with raising the sails. It was over all a fun time! Would recommend for anyone who wants to get out on the water like a local!

The Meg

I’ve done this shuttle tour before in Charleston. It’s a good way to see a lot of Charleston without having to walk it. We ended up walking on another day and seeing alot of what was pointed out in the tour. Our driver was The Meg. She was very knowledgeable and funny! You can get off at different stops but it’s not like a hop on hop off shuttle. We got off at the city market and walked around and then walked back to the meeting point where we parked which was less than a mile away.
