Jon Gave Us An Epic Day

Jon was positively exceptional! He promised to give us an epic day and he really delivered. He instilled confidence in us and we went further and did things we 100% would not have, if we'd just gone out on our own. What could have been a short hike to the places everyone else goes ended up being an adventure to spots that were completely empty and moments that were unforgettable. He made us a delicious meal and made sure we were hydrated and fueled throughout the hike. This ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. If you're going to the Grand Canyon, this is an absolute must.

Perfect Canyon Experience!

Hands down the perfect way to visit and experience the Grand Canyon! Our incredible guide, Kevin, tailored the hike to our level at a pace that worked for us. Our girls were 7 and 10 and had a blast. We loved learning fun facts along the way and coming out of the canyon in headlamps were quite a fun experience! Dinner in the canyon was delicious. We started at 2pm and hiked down in the heat of the day and came up with no one around us. We felt like we had the canyon to ourselves! I would 100% recommend this to anyone on the fence!

They don't call it the Grand Canyon for nix. For first timers, a guided tour is the way to go. If you don't, guaranteed you'll miss stuff. Plus no hassles. We stayed in Flagstaff, they picked us up at our hotel. Didn't have to worry about anything. Our guide/driver, Linda, was outstanding. She was very knowledgable about the geography and the history of the area. She was excellent at adapting to our interests and pace. Kudos! A highlight of our first trip to the Southwest.

Only disappointment was not being able to see more underground, so advertising is a bit deceptive in that regard. But that is no reflection on our tour guide as she was awesome.

Very nice but no depot at the Grand Canyon esp no handy restrooms. I rode the train for the train not the Grand Canyon. I didn’t want to go somewhere else but had no choice. Also there were anumber of undisciplined young brats onboard. The train should have an adults only car so adults don’t have to put up with them.

When we got back to our room (not at one of the haunted hotels) There was a draw that wouldn't stay closed......maybe we brought a ghost back with us?

Awesome trip. Our guide (Dominick) was non-stop with fun and interesting information and preparing us for what we would see. I didn't realize that we would have open sided vehicle tour thru Monument Valley. This was not a problem, I just would have dressed differently if I had known it would be so dusty.
