Spontaneous Best Decision We Made
I booked this cruise as a surprise for the family and it instantly became the highlight of our entire trip. Captain Oliver was absolutely wonderful with our two kids ages 9 and 6. He let them both take the helm, from steering the boat to learning how to properly tie it when docked, and our daughter even got to help hoist the sails. They were fully in their element and loving every minute of it. While the kids were busy being captains my husband and I got to sit back, drink some wine, and actually relax. That alone was worth it. This is the kind of experience that makes a trip memorable. We would absolutely do it again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area without hesitation. Thank you Captain Oliver for making it so special.

We did the Sunset tour...
We did the Sunset tour but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate (cloudy) so we did not see a beautiful sunset. We also did not see any dolphins but the tour operators were very knowledgeable about the area and made the trip fun! There are really some very beautiful homes/mansions along the waterways. If ever back in this area, would try again!!

If you're a history buff, you will love this
The tour is actually about two hours. So make sure you wear some comfortable shoes. The tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable. He did not just talk about what happened on that date. But all the events leading up to what happened on the massacre. I would definitely recommend this tour for any history buffs

Loved it!
We had such a great experience on our Wilmington ghost tour, thanks to Andy! He was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the spooky stories, but about Wilmington’s history as a whole. I especially appreciated that he didn’t shy away from the more difficult parts of that history, including the events of 1898. It added a deeper, more meaningful layer to the tour that you don’t always get with experiences like this. Andy struck a perfect balance between engaging storytelling and historical accuracy, keeping the group interested the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s sharing. The only downside had nothing to do with the tour itself—just the relentless tiny bugs outside (bring bug spray if you go!). Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and I’d absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you get Andy as your guide.
