A very informative tour

This tour was well worth the money. We learned a lot about the sad history of the Concentration Camp and the Salt Mines. We had some excellent guides along the way. It was nice having booked a tour that already included the tickets and transportation for these stops so that we did not have to worry about anything except being back to the bus on time.

Full day well spent at Auschwitz and the salt mine.

A sobering day visiting two camps. Our guide was excellent and kept us all focused. There was a lot of walking, and many steps so that might be a deterrent for some. Salt mine was fascinating, we went down for over an hour including 900 stairs. Amazing views and stories at every level. The history of the mine is long and rich. Great driver, and everything was well organized. Young and old alike were tired at the end of this day. Pro tip: order the prepared lunch as there is little free time in which to get food.

Brings History to life

Door to door service. Well worth the trip - brings some reality to history, a real eye opener. Guide was great, friendly extremely informative, patient with those a little slower and was happy to answer any questions - Caterina (I think). Lots of walking no food allowed inside however you can take something in your bag to eat before and on bus to Birkenhau - not much time though. You can take a drink throughout the tour.

Perfect, stop looking and book now.

Our driver Thomas was perfect and very informative, very easy to get on with and made everything really enjoyable. He took a slightly longer route so we could see the countryside and mountain. Our guide at the camps was Christopher who was very informative and always approachable. It's a long day with mikes if walking so make sure you are prepared. This is my 4th visit and it's changed each time with more exhibitions not seen last year. I'm someone who shops around over and over before making a decision, if you are like me don't waste your time, just book now it is well worth the money and you won't find better!

This is a very well organized tour. Micah our driver was a very good driver and explained things very well. Definitely dress accordingly as a lot of the tour is outside. It is a lot of walking as well so wear proper footwear. The boxed lunch we purchased was very good. Very tastefully done museums.

A Really Great Day for Most

After teaching a unit on the Holocaust for the last 30 years with my 8th grade students, I am glad that I finally made a trip to see Auschwitz and learn more about its history. It was both a harrowing and fascinating tour. We spent two hours being guided through the camp at Auschwitz I, and then another hour at Auschwitz II/Birkenau. Our guide (I am sorry I didn’t get her name) was exceptional. Her knowledge of the camps was second to none and she explained everything with a great deal of compassion and empathy. At times, her narration was so strong that she made us feel the pain of what people went through in the camps. I applaud her immensely. The driver who picked us up from where we were staying and delivering us to the Warsaw Central train station, and then picking us up at the end of the tour was also very friendly and prompt. The only drawback of the tour was the local driver who took us from the Krakow train station to Auschwitz and back. While asked more than twice by people in his bus to turn on the air conditioner as it was very hot inside the vehicle, he ignored those requests. Moreover, he adamantly refused to drive one couple back to their hotel, the same hotel from which he picked them up in the morning. He made them get out of the bus at Kraków’s Old Town and find their own way back to their hotel. I am certain that this couple did not receive all that they paid for. Despite that, it was an informative and worthwhile trip to a place that is so very much a part of our world history.
