Great

It was very informative Hillary was great but I was sick and had to stop sometimes and they would continue and we would be behind. Nearing the end they walked across a street and we were about a half block away.they started going up a small hill n my husband and I had to stop and not continue. No one looked back nor the tour guide and we went back to our car n left. No one called us to see where we were or if we were alright. But the tour itself n Hilary were informative.

Salem’s Best - great for historical background.

Jobian was very knowledgeable of the area, how the area had developed over the last 400 years. And geographical layout of the Salem area through that time. This was critical to the understanding of the times during the Salem witch trials. I would love to be on other tours of his, if we visit again. He took us to areas we would not have known to look / cover in our short visit before heading to the airport. We only had about 3hrs to kill in Salem before our flight in the evening out of Boston. It just worked perfectly and the group was small enough we all could be given attention. Very responsive to questions along the way. The questions did not throw him off from his performance. All around very informative and historically based. Even though the area has grown to costume and Halloween flare, the history is important to the development of the area.

It was an early summer day (very late May) and a storm came in, dropping the temps to a windchill of 27 with the rain. But it just added to a “Halloween” vibe. Our guide was FANTASTIC and so knowledgeable! Also gave good recs for places to eat and visit.

I would 100% recommend this tour. Dr. Vitka is not only very knowledgeable and an expert in the field but is also very friendly and accommodating.!!! I can’t emphasize enough - but this tour is definitely worth each and every penny you spend! The knowledge and the stories he shares is amazing!!!! My friend and I had the best time, and it’s very wholesome how he remembers each person on each of his tours and if he sees them again in the city he greets them with absolute kindness!!! Excellent walking tour for whole family!

The 1692 2-hour historical tour was excellent. It was led by a local (Jeff) who grew up in Salem. you can tell he has done extensive research on the trials! Also, It was appropriate for my 10 year old daughter and she also loved getting the whole story! It truly connected the past and present Salem.

We could not recommend the Salem Night Tour enough. Sebastian was our tour guide and he was incredible! He did a great job of humanizing the people he was telling us about so that the history felt alive, which was a perfect compliment to the ghostly stories he shared. He kept it entertaining without sensationalizing, and it is so clear that he genuinely cares about both his tour guests and the historical figures he talked about. If you’re the friend who’s booking the tour for your bachelorette/girls trip/etc., pick this one. Your friends WILL thank you for it!

A grounded view of witchcraft past and present

This was perfect for us! Even though it was gray and drizzly, the rain let up just in time for our tour. I appreciated how our guide, Will, tied the history of witchcraft in Salem to present day. Everyone’s favorite part was when we got to participate in spell work in the garden! (Bonus: Will told us where all the good bathrooms are, which is clutch for out-of-town visitors!)

Great experience

Michael was incredible. We are locals, but we never did any tours. The history of Salem is incredible, and Michael was kind, made sure everyone was there, and made sure everyone was safe.. Here is what I would pay extra money for, maybe a shuttle bus to take us back to down town..
