Our family fully enjoyed our tour with Tish. We are a mixed group from 74 to 7 and she met all our needs. She was friendly and informative and her life experience in the entertainment industry added to the information she was able to provide. This made the tour more enjoyable and was able to provide behind the scenes information about movie production that others who only know about Salem would be able to provide. I would definitely recommend this tour to others, especially with this guide.

Just book it!!

Michael was absolutely AMAZING! His storytelling, jokes, and personality made the tour so much fun from start to finish. He somehow managed to make every story interesting, creepy, and hilarious all at the same time. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it definitely shows! And then there was his cat sidekick… 🐈‍⬛😂 Honestly, that cat completely stole the show. At this point, I’m not sure if we went on a tour or accidentally attended the cat’s personal meet-and-greet. Michael had us laughing one minute and looking over our shoulders the next. The stories were fascinating, the jokes were top-notch, and the whole experience felt like we were hanging out with a friend who just happens to know ALL the creepy history of Salem. If you’re looking for a tour with great storytelling, lots of laughs, creepy history, and an unexpected feline celebrity, GO SEE MICHAEL!

There are so many tours to choose from, it's a little overwhelming... we did some research for our family trip and decided on this one. So glad we did! Mike was fantastic and knowledgeable and you can tell he really enjoys informing people of Salem's history. Wear comfortable shoes and take lots of photos. Would highly recommend!

Did the 9:15pm tour on a Saturday night. Got to learn not only about the gruesome past, but also learned the history of places that you walk by normally and not think there was a story to them. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the past and recent history and she was very friendly.

A fun family sail…

What a beautiful ship and amazing crew! My sister and two nephews had such a wonderful afternoon aboard. The youngest (9) was especially obsessed with going below deck to use the latrine, while the eldest (14) took many photos and videos. We had a wonderful time. Salem harbor is such a gem.

We enjoyed this tour!

The tour was very interesting and well done. April was a very engaging and knowledgeable host, who is a local person with a long family history in the area. She took us to many sites and gave us a fuller picture of Salem’s amazing history. She answered all of our questions and made it fun. I went with my ten year old grandchild who really enjoyed all of the stories the way April told them.

This was a wonderfully fun and calm experience. After a week of walking and experiencing a fun vacation in Maine and Salem this class was just what the doctor ordered! The instructor was so pleasant and talked me through every step of the process ensuring my broom was secure and made correctly. The choice of materials gave everyone endless opportunities to make their own unique brooms that reflected their personalities. Super informative. Great experience overall. She was very knowledgeable and made it fun and interesting. Most vital to me. She made it honest and respectful for the dead. She shared the history in a way that helped me realize that some of those attitudes are pervasive still today and there wouldn't be a huge leap to have similar horrors done today. I learned so much and am grateful for having gone. Sarah was amazing.

We had an amazing time on the Booze and Brews Tour in Salem, Massachusetts! The tour was the perfect mix of local history, great drinks, and fun atmosphere. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made every stop interesting with fascinating stories about Salem's past. The breweries and pubs we visited each had their own unique charm, and we got to sample some fantastic local beverages along the way. The pace was relaxed, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the drinks, explore the locations, and meet other people on the tour.
