We had a wonderful experience! The manta rays interacted with us the entire time, and it was so special. The tour itself was pretty bare bones but it was the perfect amount of time - just an hour. Overall, a very unique experience that we would do again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! The views above the clouds and the sunset on Mauna Kea were absolutely breathtaking. The stargazing was the highlight of the trip—the telescope views of the moon were incredible, and our guide, Chris, did a fantastic job explaining the stars and constellations. The tour was well organized, included a sandwich for dinner and hot cocoa, and Chris even took beautiful photos for us. Highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting the Big Island!

Amazing experience, everyone enjoyed

Absolutely amazing! We loved it! Had a large party of 9 adults and 2 kids and everyone had a great time! My kids (5 and 9) enjoyed it but wanted to go back after only 20ish minutes. The guys took them back for us and let us stay in the water. Captain Bryce, Mana and Aleho were all great - they were funny and made it so entertaining. We had some nervous snorkelers in our group and they supported them well. Mantas are mere INCHES from your face!! Do. This. You won’t regret it!

Amazing — with friendly and helpful crew. My 8 year old daughter was afraid getting in, they helped her back to the boat, and back to the water again when she felt confident to get in. They were great with the kids. You’ll get to learn a bit about the mantas and the time provided in the water is plenty to have a good experience. Would recommend and was worth every penny.

Wonderful tour, well worth it.

Our guide Lane was very pleasant and helpful. The other guide who guided us the star gazing was so knowledgeable (sorry I didn't catch the name). The road wasn't scary and Lane gave us heads up when he needed to go fast the bumpy part. The winter jacket provided was fun and Lane took us many night photos. I appreciated the star gazing more than expected thanks to the deep knowledge and telescope. We were picked up in Hilo and that saved us about 45-60 minutes? compared to getting picked up on the Kailua-Kona side.

Hawaii Big Island Tour

Henry was awesome. He somehow managed to make a full day in the van feel like it flew by. We got to see Volcanoes National Park, walk through a lava tube, visit a black sand beach, see the incredible Rainbow Falls, tour a chocolate factory, and learn way more about Kona coffee than I ever expected to know (and I’m not mad about it). Along the way he shared great stories, local history, and random facts that kept everyone engaged from start to finish. He also has a great sense of humor and kept us laughing throughout the day. When the weather turned, he already had jackets ready for everyone, which was such a thoughtful touch and showed how prepared he is. On top of that, he was an incredibly safe driver, which made all the winding island roads easy to relax and enjoy. If you get Henry as your guide, you’re in for an amazing day. The only downside is now every other tour guide has a pretty tough act to follow. Mahalo, Henry! From our family to yours, thank you for making our day on the Big Island so memorable. We truly appreciate everything you did and wish you and your family all the best. 🤙

This trip was great! The crew was awesome! Brice Koa and Mono I believe were their names. They were helpful and respectful of my husband who has mobility issues. They kept a good eye while we snorkeled. They even helped rescue a group of young men (3) on a broken waverunner in the middle of ocean on our way back!

We Saw It!

Our guide, Maggie, was informative and energetic. A geography major, she was a wealth of information. Rainbow Falls was beautiful, and our trip to the volcano ended with the start of an eruption. When Maggie was notified that was happening, she checked the time we had to be back to the ship and turned the coach around to the Volcano Hotel for viewing. What a special trip!

Not much more to say that everyone else hasn't mentioned! Great activity if you're roadtripping toward Hilo for the day. The first few zips were short which is great for younguns and new zipliners. The views over the river and forest were lovely. The final zip was over a gorgeous waterfall!! Guides kept us safe and entertained. fun activity on this side of the island

Great Experience

My husband and I are 73 & 76 years old. We really wanted to see volocanos but are unable to hike so we opted for the Safari Helicopter tour. The pilot and ground staff was very professional and helpful each encounter that I had with them. The helicopter tour was amazing with great views of the volcanoes and waterfalls. The pilot's narrative was constant and informative. We always knew what we were seeing and interesting facts about it.
