A great way to see a Wonder of the world

This was a great tour. Our guide, Lumi, is a native to the area as well as being an an amazing historian about Rome, so we not only got a great history of the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill area ruins, but also from the perspective of someone who grew up running around the ruins as a child before they were a tourist destination. Getting that kind of perspective really made this from a good tour to a great one. Skipping the line with a tour is a must, it was busy. Wear comfortable shoes. Thanks Lumi, I hope Jason Momoa comes back again.

Fantastic Tour

Great tour of the Vatican. Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional and gave us the history of the Vatican and interesting facts about it and Rome and some of the stories associated with it. The tour was very well organised with breaks for water and restrooms. Would highly recommend the skip the line tour as well worth it. You do need comfortable shoes and to be mobile as a lot of walking involved and a lot of steps and long narrow crowded corridors in the Vatican However it is well worth a visit as amazing architecture and sculptures in addition to the famous Sistine Chapel.

My wife and I started our first full day of a five-day visit to Rome with the guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Our guide, Roberta, was enthusiastic, energetic, and extremely well versed in the history of this area and its people, and really connected with everyone in our 12-person group. She kept the group on a good pace to spend enough time at each site to learn important facts and legends, and explained things clearly and with a good sense of humor. I booked this tour on our first day in the city. It was the perfect way to all of the highlights. Izaak was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for my family. I was with some older people so walking for long periods is a challenge but thanks to this tour we were able to get up close and see everything. Great tour by an enthusiastic guide.

Probably just me, but I struggled with accent some times (my wife did not). Despite that, Ting gave us an excellent tour. She had tons of information, walked at a speed our two disabled group members could manage and took ample stops to provide more information and all the group to get back together. She was enthusiastic and exudes passion for the site and the history of Rome. Might be a good idea to offer the group a toilet break early on, so they don’t have people struggling midway through? This is a comprehensive tour and you get your money’s worth. If you’re looking for a quick run through, look elsewhere.
