- Note: This tour will involve quite a bit of walking for about 2 hours and will require that people be physically fit and wear comfortable shoes. Not well suited for disabled people or people in wheelchair. It's not recommended to carry babies on this tour.

We took a 2-hour walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery with Dwayne, Signature Tours of DC. His knowledge of Arlington was stellar. I wish we had more time with him! I would hire Dwayne for any DC tour. His stories and depth of history made the tour exceptional.

Ask for Dwayne! He made it absolutely the best experience. He never stopped talking about everything National Arlington Cemetery. It was so interesting. He was personable, and he took time to make sure we were taking everything in. The tour itself is amazing. It ’s an amazing place to see. So impressive and moving and worth your time!

The Arlington Cemetery guided walking tour was very informative and very moving. Rochelle was our guide and she gave a great tour. She was interesting, informative and friendly! She never rushed us and made sure we saw all the best views including the perfect spot to video tape the changing of the guards. The cemetery is huge and we were so glad to have an expert showing us around.

Great tour! The cemetery is so large it is best to have a guide help navigate where to go. Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Changing of the guards was very emotional. Something all should see.

Unfortunate disaster of a tour. We waited over a half hour on the steps to watch the changing of the guard & our tour guide James admitted he had the time wrong. We wasted 40 minutes waiting. Then he took us to another area and when we got back, we could hardly see the ceremony due to the crowd had filled in & we could not view it clearly. James reported now we didn’t have time to see some key areas & he actually took out his cell phone & showed us pics of what we missed. Two of us broke away from the tour to go see an area of our interest. It would be best to have a veteran give the tour from a veterans, respectable viewpoint also. James kept talking about how much he knew and could show us if we had all day but the tour was just for two hours. Ridiculous failure of a tour by our disorganized & forgetful guide. Perhaps he was just having a bad day. Arlington cemetery is worth visiting, but this particular tour w James was an unfortunate disaster. Arlington cemetery is an amazing place to go and learn about, but this tour definitely bombed. James spent as much time talking about himself as he did Arlington cemetery. There were two military veterans in our group So this tour was especially unfortunate for them. There were three couples in our group. The couple from Ireland were very disgruntled. A refund would not be inappropriate.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS TOUR!!!! The local operator provided the instructions in the photo and we were at the meeting point 30 minutes before the tour time. It was raining steadily and no one from Signature Tours arrived. At 10:05 I placed a call to the local office to inquire if they were running late and was told that the tour had left without us because “everyone else” showed up except us, but there had been no other people milling about in a group, just individual families and couples exiting past the meeting location. I explained this to the person in the local office and he said we were too late to meet the group—we should have been at the meeting site by 9:45. I stated we had been there since 9:30 and had seen no one from Signature Tours. He then asked me why I had waited until 10:15 to call about the tour and said that if I had really been at the meeting point and was concerned about finding the tour guide, I should have called his office by 9:30, which (by his own instruction over the phone) was 15 minutes BEFORE the tour guide was supposed to meet us!! Who calls to ask if someone is late 15 minutes before they are supposed to arrive?? I restated that we were at the meeting site before the guide was supposed to be there and he again said, “Everyone else was there, but you were not.” There was only one platform at the train station and it would have been impossible to miss a tour company guide. I requested a refund for the tour or a different time to take the tour, but was told that since we were the ones who didn’t show up (even though I was standing at the meeting site while having this phone conversation), there would be no refund or rescheduling. What I suspect happened is that the tour company did not want to send a guide when it was raining steadily and rather than canceling or rescheduling, they simply falsely accused us of not being at the meeting site and said that the tour left without us. I am thoroughly disgusted with this tour company and would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!

Terrible tour. Tour guide was 20 minutes late and did not provide any interesting facts, only basic facts. So much that others members of the tour did Google searches to get better information and shared it with the group. Our tour was not worth it, our guide added zero value.

This was a 6-7 hr tour. Dwayne started us off at the Arlington Cemetery. What a brilliant young man and one of the best tour guides I ever had. James in the afternoon and his driver Kris was equally brilliant and enjoyable. They really took care of us. Loved the entire team.

One of the best trips I have been on our guides Lynwood & Chris were so helpful, the best part for me was Arlington cemetery, it’s just unbelievable to see , changing of the guard was spectacular. The tour covered so many places of interest , the White House pentagon but to name a few . I would record this tour for anyone who busts Washington .

Tyrone was wonderful guiding us through all the venues. He was personable, funny and patient. We had a disappointment at Arlington National Cemetery due to being forced to leave before the changing of the guard due to a security issue. Tyrone even had the bus driver Chris bring us back to Arlington at the end of day to see if we might be able to see the last changing of the guard. Security was still not allowing anyone in; but Tyrone went above and beyond. Chris, our bus driver was also personable and patient during the tour. We saw so much but the Cemetery and monument visits were too quick. Would have liked to read the information given and taken in where we were. We had to move at speed, if we took photos we got left behind and though the guides were very informative it was hard to hear them while they walked, often ahead. Would have liked to visit just one gift shop to buy books, gifts but were told there was no time for any stops. The cruise was at last relaxing and pleasant.

Tyrone was an awesome guide. He was very knowledgeable about Arlington Cemetery and each monument/memorial. We had to take a short detour due to construction, but he kept the tour on time and made sure we could see everything. I would highly recommend this tour.

Everything about the tour was Great!! Starting from visiting Arlington National Cemetery while seeing the Changing of the Guard of the Unknown Soldier to visiting Audie Murphy Grave. Then a bus tour to the various monuments such as Vietnam Wall, World War II, and Iowa Jima which was one of my favorites to see!! The last stop of the tour was at George Town where we had lunch before the boat cruise. The food was amazing and even more exciting eating on the pier with an awesome scenery!! Highly recommend if you want to do a three-combo tour, it takes up most of your day but worth it.

Larry, the tour guide, was good. Chris, the driver, was good. The "stops" at the White House and U.S. Capitol were a waste. You were so far away, you may as well have just done a drive by from two blocks away and called it a "stop". We ended ip having to go to both places on our own so we could actually get close and get some pictures. They need to either make the stops closer and provide more than two minutes at the stop in order to consider it a stop; or remove it from the tour. It was extremely hot the day we went, it was great that they provided cold bottled water all day for us. It was nice to end with the relaxing boat ride. Overall it was good, just very disappointed with two of the biggest highlights of the tour.

My family and I had a great time. Our tour guide Tyrone McBride was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the day. This tour had a lot of options for people to take tests if needed, which I really appreciate since my Mom has difficulties getting around.

Tyrone was excellent! Very knowledgeable and caring! Long walk at Arlington and Tyrone was sensitive to needs. Nice amount of time at each stop. Lunch stop was great!
