    Tour company good, just Vatican city which was bit of a let down!

    Company organising were good on day. Sudden national train strike meant delays in travelling there but tour company kept in touch via WhatsApp. They were helpful. So tour company should deserve additional start, but what reduces rating is just how busy it was, so much to see and not nearly enough time to see it - headed through like cattle!! Not tour company fault, just how it is, but it makes the vatican city a bit of an anti climax.

    Far too many people on each time slot!!! 600+ people. It was a matter of being pushed around the one way system & impossible to stand to take in the arts to absorb & enjoy.

    Not a good experience with this site. Very miss leading about a possible tour. This is a self tour for a very expensive price. No guide in a yellow hat as told on the website. Paid over $200 for this self tour. Not what we were looking for. Will recommend not to use this company or this website while In Rome.

    I booked with Vatican Wonders “ skip the line” which meant that I picked up my tkt at their office near the Vatican and was accompanied up to the entrance by one of their staff and given directions to navigate through the Museums, Sistine chapel etc. the staff were very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

    I really have no idea what we got for our money other than the entry tickets. It said "skip the line" but we waited in a line for a while. I guess we skipped the ticket purchase line. It talked about a "pickup point" which seemed to imply being "picked up" but we met a person at the pickup point who then walked with us for a few blocks and then pointed us to the Museum entrance down the street. I don't know what the entry tickets alone cost but there doesn't seem to be a value add to this "experience".

    We booked a tour of the Vatican Museums through Viator and unfortunately ran into major transportation issues and heavy traffic the morning of our tour. We were about 30 minutes late and feared we had missed our opportunity completely. To our relief, the Viator team was incredibly understanding and accommodating. They rebooked us for a later time that same day at no extra charge and made sure we were still able to enjoy the experience. Their kindness and professionalism truly saved the day.

    At the agency or meeting point, the workers did not arrive 30 minutes early as recommended in the reservation specifications. These people arrived late to open the place. Then they changed my entry time from 8 to 9. At the Vatican, the staff in charge of the entrance and organization requested that we return to the agency due to the inconsistency in the schedules between the online reservation and the printed tickets at the agency, and we had to join the line at 9.
