Great time with the tour! The tour guide gave us a lot of knowledge of the area. I am ready for my San Francisco trivia night
One of the most eventful nights. Our tour guide was indeed a character and really know how to be extremely fun yet informative.
Judith, Thank you for a fun-filled tour. Learned so many kooky facts & history of the city. A major highlight of our time in SF. Thank you!
Amazing night tour with the incredibly adventurous and humorous Judith. She showed us both brand new parts of the city as well as old parts that seemed new after dark. And the 1971 VW "Hippie" Van that took us from site to site was a total blast!
This was one of the funnest tours we have ever done. The little VW LOVE van was a blast. We had so much fun driving around seeing all the best sights in San Francisco with our lovely guide Jacklyn learning about the hippie culture and listening to the fantastic 60’s music. Would highly recommend if you want a laid back fun tour.
Tyler, our guide, was great! His personality and knowledge of the city made the tour seem like it flew by. Traveling in the bus with the music was an experience we will never forget. Thanks Tyler!!
We really enjoyed our evening Love Tour with Doug during our stay in SF. We covered streets and areas that a large bus would have been unable to drive along and Doug kept us entertained with stories and music from our era.
Would definitely recommend this fun tour in our VW.
The only thing I would suggest that a microphone for the driver would help those in the rear seats to hear all being said as the VW engine can be quite noisy going uphill.
Wow! What a fun night tour! Our guide “Doug” was fantastic. We were able to see and go so many places that a regular tour bus could not. Fabulous views and so entertaining!
Peace out. Go Van Go!
Kind of a bummer. This was the tour I was looking forward to the most and it was the most disappointing. The description stated photo ops at the golden gate bridge, but we went nowhere near there. There was really no point in having the hippie bus because it just felt like an ordinary tour. The description is VERY misleading.
The evening was cool but the trip around SF was fantastic. We've been to SF many times but usually for work. This evening was very informative and enjoyable. We had the town to ourselves. From the GG Bridge to the Bay Bridge. The skyline was beautiful. We definitely would recommend this tour. Thank you
Very interesting, very nice guys, see a lot of teh town, 2 nice Photoshop, a lot of Good informations ans interesting of teh City
A very Specials citytour
This was a great tour with a really friendly and informative guide. Good to see all of San Francisco and work out which parts we definitely wanted to return to. Driving through San Francisco in a VW camper is an experience not to be missed.
This tour was not what we expected. The tour guide was wonderful and informative but we thought it was a tour about the art and music history of San Fransisco. We also thought we were going to some of the hippie areas. It definitely was pretty at night vs the day.
This was such a fun and informative tour! Do something like the Love Tour to make your trip special. Jason, our guide, was so kind and fun and he gave us great stories about the places we saw.
The Polaroid pic he took of us is wonderful snd will go on my fridge as a fun momento!
We went on a few excursions and this one was our least favorite. We could have easily done without it. While it gave us a quick overview of some of the highlights of San Fran, there was nothing special about it. The vehicle was uncomfortable and the ride was not at all smooth. The driver did his best to play appropriate music and talk about the places we were seeing but, it just wasn't anything special.
A bit disappointing to be fair. Great to see the Golden Gate at night, the city lights and travel down Lombard St and the guide was fun. But the trip stated approx 2 hours but was all over in 1hr 30 mins. Then we were dropped off at our pick-up point but the itinerary had said hotel drop off included since our trip they've taken that out but I had the paperwork to show our guide that it was definitely included when we booked so then had the unexpected expense of a taxi ride back to the hotel as no way was the guide going to honour our booking and take us to our hotel....even though we ended up via taxi back at the hotel before the tour was even due to end! Disappointing end.
I was really looking forward to this trip and was a bit disappointed that the evening bus doesn't go to Haight Ash....its a hippie bus hello? Our driver Jason was super sweet and took us to some very nice out of the way spots for photos and a grand finale of Lombard Street!
Fantastic way to see the main sights in San Francisco plus a few you wouldn't find on your own. Jason was a fabulous guide so enthusiastic and knowledgable. He was so entertaining and seemed to be enjoying the tour with us!! Would absolutely recommend thanks
Great time. The bus could have been a little better. The guide said it was still under repair.
We enjoyed this tour so much, it was a relaxed tour the guide we had was awesome. He took us on a great ride in a cool old VW van. We would recommend this tour it's a cool way to see the sights, the local guides know all the areas that tour buses can't go. Lots of fun!!
Great night tour, driver very familiar with the area.
My granddaughter-16 and I 65 had a great time! Derrick was our guide. He was informative, fun, silly and a ball to have as a guide. He showed us SO many sites! Took pix for us too. Also, dropped us at where we had to catch a ride back to Oakland. Very nice, personable young man! 2 Korean gals were with us and he had worked in there village! Fun information! Other 2 folks were from Venezuela. A great bunch to see the sites with!
It's was awesomme.
The driver name john made the whole trip very cool
Next time I will take my kids
Paris was an amazing guide. Had fun to do this tour in a lovely Hippie-VW who was built in 1972.
It was fantastic. Derrick, our guide, was cool and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was the BEST. Told us some great local stories and was very patient to stop wherever we wanted to take a picture. He also brought us back to our hotel, who could ask for more!
Had a wonderful time and learned a lot about San Francisco. Highly recommended.
