There were some hiccups and stressful moments, but we did get into the Vatican museums.
When we showed up, the operator said that the tickets they'd bought for us were "not scanning", and asked if we were available another day; which we were not.
Ultimately he made some calls and did find some other tickets (we had to go in separately, and then meet up inside 30 minutes apart), and it did allow us to skip the regular lineup.
The Egyptian guide that took us to the gate (someone else from the office, not the operator) was really kind and helpful.
Don't rely on Viator to know if an attraction is open, they advertise spaces for a tour when the venue is scheduled to be closed (Easter Monday) Really helpful individual who tried his best to get us in to an earlier date but said he wasn;t connected with our tour operator. Still waiting for the refund or aven an email confirming that a refund has been processed - instead I am reminded to leave a review! Skip the line adds over £50/person but the queue would have been too long so generally I'd recommend it

Hello
unfortunately on easter monday vatican was closed.
as our conversation we speak up for full refund
so please be patient you will recieve soon refund
sorry for inconvineance.
Was perfect - I picked up the tickets with no waiting and our provider was helpful with giving us tips to make it even easier
For the second time on this day, we did not have the tickets promised/paid for. We had to get a later entry which limited our ability to experience the Vatican. We paid extra transportation to ensure that we would have the maximum time, only to be delayed by a ticket issue between Viator and the tour operator.
Viator didn’t get my information to the Tour Operator who did their best to accommodate us. Unfortunately we were not able to get our booked time hence only giving us less than 40 minutes in the Museum as we had another Tour booked afterwards. So our experience was not as expected as we didn’t get to see much at all. Heart breaking!! BUT overall the Vatican was breath taking.
What would've taken us 2 1/2 to 3 hours only took 10 minutes! Yes, you go in another line, but it was honestly less than 10 minutes! Walking around the building and seeing the long lines of people waiting to enter the Vatican was discouraging until you use this service. We would definitely do it again.
This was a real disappointment. Instead of "Skip the Line," they should call this "Get In The Line," which is what we did. My wife and I visited the Vatican Museum on our honeymoon, and were looking forward to sharing that experience with our son. This was basically a $100 mark-up on top of the actual cost of the museum tickets. What did we get? Not really sure. A guide brought us to the line, and while he did stay until the entire group was inside, we really didn't need a guide. I was expecting we were going to "skip the line," but, we didn't, and simply waited along with everyone else. Caveat emptor.
I received a phone call saying that the time of the visit had been shifted 2 hours. I asked for an email stating that. I was told that I would receive the information by SMS. I did not receive it, so me and my family went to the ticket office at the original time thinking that it could have been a scam. It turns out that the visit had indeed been postponed and we lost 2 hours scrolling around to spend time.
Claudio did a great job, but it was very busy and congested. Hard to keep together. We lost one of our party members, luckily she caught up and was able to enter St. Peter's. Claudio was very knowledgeable. Company was a little disorganized, but they came through in the end.
While the Vatican deserves several days to try and see everything, we paid to skip the line and we waited in the line, so I don't know what line we were supposed to skip. While it was true we didn't have to wait in line to purchase tickets and the guide did, we were told to just hang out in front of the ticket booth while the guide waited. Also be careful when you purchase tickets, we thought we did skip the line with a guided tour, but the guide pointed us up the steps and left. Apparently we did not purchase the correct ticket.
Complete waste of money. Total scam. Tickets are MORE than double what you can just get at the ticket counter. And it takes longer to finally freaking get in. Don’t give these scammers your money
Chaotic and underwhelming. There were loads of people milling around in the office. None of them seemed to know what was happening
Eventually they walked us up to the museum, handed over the tickets and scarpered
Brilliant service, definitely worth it to skip the queues and enter the Vatican with no hassle… friendly guide took us past the huge queues and inside, gave a map and then we were left to roam the Vatican at our own pace
Great time at the Vatican Museum thanks to Viator. My thanks to the team I met in Rome, they looked after me and my family so well
Wonderful experience, seeing many of the greatest objects and art of humanity. This tour is highly recommended.
Sistine Chapel. The entire museum was very interesting. Great experience. Well run by tour people. Would reccomend this tour to my other friends.
This Skip-the-Line to the Vatican Museums service was very good value! The agents were all very polite and approachable. I just wanted to suggest that it is very easy to get lost in the crowds on the street. Perhaps the agents could use a flag or something to identify them more easily. I would recommend this activity to my friends. Thank you.
This is fine if you are in need of last minute tickets and you really want to go into the Vatican. I would skip it if you’re not that into art - way too many people! Also just know that they buy the tickets for about $17 and sell them for about double the price, but again, if you are in desperate need of last minute tickets, it’s fine.
While thousands, if not 10's of thousands of people stood in an endless line that wrapped all of St Peter's Square and out into the streets of Rome... in the hottest part of the day, we skipped the line and went straight to security and into the Vatican Museum. If you plan to visit the Vatican, do yourself a favor and get SKIP THE LINE tickets. You're already going to be standing in an endless line inside the museum... for hours... with no break from the heat and humidity. Why do you want to wait in an endless line OUTSIDE the museum... for hours... in the sun? Save yourself 3 hours of your life and possible heatstroke!
Exactly what it said on the tin. Straight in past thousands of people in the queue. No guide, which in my opinion was a blessing. Bought the audio for ourselves and went at our pace.
we missed a flight and showed it to the person in charge and they had the worst attitude and not helpful
Skip the line tickets easy to pick up and was guided to the entrance where we could then make our own way in.
Well organised.
Let me start my saying the Sistine Chapel was beautiful, BUT it was so crowded we couldn't enjoy it at all. It was pretty miserable. If you're not one for crowds, try going during an off season or slower day (if that's possible). If the Sistine Chapel is your goal, go straight to it, cut through everything else. You won't be able to stop and see anything anyway. If there is a way to just go see the Chapel and only the Chapel- that's the way to go.
Great experience, very easy to find the location to pick up the tickets and skipped the queue immediately.
The tour of Vatican itself was one of the most memorable events in life. No complaints there.
The problem was this particular tour operator ('Visit In Italy') that I booked through Viator. I took skip-the-line 3:30 booking and arrived they asked to come at 3:15 and then again at 3:30. At the 3:30 the regular group with tour guide left. We were asked to wait and were told that they had to clear some security issues. Long story short, we had to wait extra 20, go through regular line (no skip) and no tour guide all this for paying extra. If you are planning to use this operator, do it on your own risk.
Thanks
Sanal

Sorry for your inconvenience but you didn’t book for a guide so as you have only tickets and if there is security check line everybody have to wait a bit for that as per Vatican rule..
Still we are sorry for your inconvenience!
Just as described. There’s only one through through the Vatican, past museums , and to the Sistine chapel and you’ll have plenty of time without a guided tour
Would not recommend going into museums. Piazza beautiful but going inside is way too crowded. Once you're in museums it is so crazy crowded you walk so far with huge amount of people through small doors to finally get to the Insanely crowded Sistine chapel. Recommend goto the piazza in Vatican and then just look at pictures of museum and chapel!!

Hello
Sorry for your experience in Vatican Museums
As Vatican in world heritage and the building is old so they have small gates to enter.
But this is not our fault
Our visit was very easy and a great way to enter the Vatican Museums without the long busy queues. Easy instructions to collect tickets. We were very pleased.
The Vatican was overcrowded. Even with Skip the Line it took nearly an hour to gain entry. They let so many people in that it’s not enjoyable.

Hello
We are sorry for your experience in Vatican !
As per Vatican Rules when you go inside everybody have to follow metal detector and than we change our vouchers into tickets its take time.
even somtimes if vatican is crowded everyone have to wait in reservation lines (not general line).
