This skip the line experience was amazing. No waiting at all and it was great because Rome was 95 degrees. Once inside, we were able to get a free English guide with our tickets. She was terrific and gave all the highlights. The tour company is very organized and responsive. An amazing visit overall.

I used this service to get a skip-the-line ticket when it wasn’t available on the official website. A tour guide was available but I did not want it - you can skip the guide no problem. If tickets are available on the official website then buy there, otherwise this is a good option.

Extremely disappointed with this Vatican tour company and would absolutely not book with them again. We originally booked and paid for a 3:30 PM “Skip the Line” Vatican tour and planned the rest of our Rome itinerary around that confirmed time. The evening before the tour, we received a call saying the 3:30 PM tour was suddenly no longer available — despite it still being listed online when we booked it. We were told the only option was a 5:15 PM tour, so we rearranged several other activities in Rome to accommodate the later time. Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. When we arrived, the tickets they issued were for the wrong MONTH. Because of this mistake, our entire group stood waiting in line for an extended period of time — hardly “skip the line.” We were eventually brought into the Vatican nearly an hour later than expected. By then it was so late in the day that we received only an abbreviated rushed tour because the Vatican was preparing to close. Several others in our group mentioned they had also rearranged schedules and activities to accommodate this changed tour time, only to experience further delays and confusion once there. To make matters worse, the person handling ticket distribution became rude, argumentative, and was openly yelling at people in the group. We paid over $500 and did not receive the tour we originally booked or paid for. This was also our last day in Rome, so there was no opportunity to reschedule and properly experience the Vatican another day. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and poorly managed from start to finish. Based on our experience — and hearing similar frustrations from others in the group — I would strongly recommend booking with another company.

This ticket includes a fee for a tour guide and listening device. The guide was terrible- we started as a group of at least 20 people and after 40 minutes had dropped to 4. He walked us in circles for 40 minutes telling us and showing us nothing. Skip the fees and save yourself time and money. The price is inflated with extra fees- book straight through the Vatican. Also, the day before the tour the guide moved our time-slot by 2 1/2 hrs, causing us to miss other planned sites.

Be prepared to persevere. Our first attempt at pushing in was a failure and our rep ran off down the line as security tried to take a photo and threatened to call the police. Luckily he had already pointed out our tour "leader" and 5 minutes later we tried again. Fortunately security was busy apprehending another pushing in Rep. We took our chance and located our tour leader who agreed we was in his group. After ignoring a few frosty stares we settled in and was ok. This is thoroughly recommended as we saved at least two hours queuing in line. We'd definitely use them again.

Skip the line voucher worked great bc the lines were very long. You can choose to stick with the guide or leave at any point. The guide started off with a 15 minute overview explanation, which would have been fine with us, but we stayed on the 1-1.5 hour guided tour through 7 of the museums. We’re not big museum ppl and you have to go through the museums to get to the chapel, so in hindsight, we would have left after the intro explanation and followed the signs to the chapel. However, the guide was great. Very knowledgeable and charismatic.

Booked online and started to go to the Vatican and got call within 5 minutes "Don't go, the Vatican did not approve the ticket and you won't be admitted". BUT when credit card bill showed up as a charge called Viator directly and they refused to credit charge back. Reported to Citibank as fraud.

It was a little complicated going back and forth as they wanted to change my booked time. But in the end I did receive mobile tickets for my requested time, but only a few minutes before which was a bit stressful.

We were able to get our tickets moved up to an earlier time slot, which was great. Make sure you are on time! You will be turned away if you are late Prepare for large groups of guided tours, and if trying to see the Sistine Chapel, attempt to make a beeline to it, as one must make their way through the entire museum. No pictures are allowed in the chapel. There is an incredible amount of beautiful artwork in the exhibits prior to the it. There are multiple gift shops after, so if the first couple are crowded, just keep moving through, you'll know when you're at the last one "Ultima"

Our original ticket purchase was ca ncelled without reasons. We then repurchased a second set but we're sold only tickets without tour guides. We managed to to find a tour guide for additional cost but the time got moved tourvhours later. The checked in process took 30 minutes and the tour guides took quite a long time on the beginning part of the museum. Thus, after 1 hour we had to quit the tour because it is going to take 3 hours instead of 2 hous as planned. We had to rush to take the bus to the cruise ship. It was a wasted tour and everyone in our group. The vendor is reselling official Vatican tickets, they can be obtained for much cheaper on the official site. These are not skip the line tickets but regular ones. When trying to contact Viator support they refused to understand what happend and did not take any action on this matter even though I have provided all needed information and screenshots, they still won't take down this vendor. DO NOT BUY TICKETS HERE, get them elsewhere or on the official site. This platforms support is also horrible, so I would stay out of this website too :)

We were finishing our cruise and wanted to spend a couple of days in Rome. Unknown to us Thursday June 29 was the Rome holiday of Saints Peter and Paul and so the Vatican was closed which meant that we needed to get into the Vatican on June 28. After looking at various Viator/TripAdvisor offers which were all sold out we found this opportunity and booked it. Pretty quickly we received a text from them asking for when we wanted the tickets. We asked for a 2:30pm admission and we met someone who took us through the process and we got into the museum, Sistine Chapel and the Basilica without any issues. This outfit communicated very well which made it quite a bit easier to go through the process of getting into the Sistine Chapel. Big thank you for getting us in.
