This was the best tour we had in Rome. Jamie was so knowledgable. He told us historical information well beyond the normal guide. His passion was infectious. When we are in Rome again we will ask for him specifically and take the same tour again. We highly recommend you take this tour. It's better than the large group tours where we are rushed through everything to complete the tour.

Very nice experience. Though we were running late because our map kept leading us to the wrong place, Daniel waited for us, and we weren’t disappointed. Daniel took us to many historical sites and was patient in letting us take time to take pictures. Even stopping to treat us both to some delicious ice cream. The best I ever tasted, from 150 flavours to choose from.
A very great tour, a very good tour guide.

On the day of the tour we had "Severe Thunderstorm" warnings and rain. On top of that, my partner woke up feeling under the weather. We asked if we could postpone the tour one day. Not cancel, not refund, just postpone. There were no tickets needed to any of the attractions...it was simply a walking tour. Even Viator reached out to the tour company for us. They told us (and Viator) no. Was hoping for a little grace and sympathy, but you won't get it from these guys. Plan accordingly.

The guide was there to carry out the tour this morning, but you didn't show for the reasons you listed. We understand this, but the guide still needs to be paid for their time regardless, hence why we couldn't simply move your reservation.

We absolutely loved this tour on foot. It was a great way to get a sense of the city and enjoy the knowledge and experience of someone with a deep understanding of history in Rome. It was a 10/10 for us with James, absolutely book him if you have the opportunity! He has a wide knowledge of many subjects and he knows exactly what to highlight on his tours. Highly enjoyable!

Angela was awesome! Great tour with so many little tidbits on city history through the ages. She also made great recs on where to go, what to see (and when to go), and where to find the best “off the beaten path” food and adult bev options in the city. What an awesome way to spend a couple hours in the city. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our tour with Daniel. This small-group tour ended up being just our family. He was fun, funny, and offered lots of interesting historical stories; we learned a lot. Gladly accommodated some requests from us along the way, too. Highly recommend if you want to see these main sights and have a lovely time doing it.

Not only did we see many of the key highlights of Rome, but also got recommendations for other things to do on our own. We also got great recommendations regarding food! The gelato we had during the tour was amazing - best we had on our trip! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great introduction to the city of Rome.

I do several tours whenever I travel, including other Rome walking tours and this was easily one of the absolute best. Our tour guide Angela explained that they do small size tours for an intimate experience and our group of 6 just so happened to get an unexpected private tour. The number of stops we made far exceeded what most other walking tours included and for each one, she had at least one interesting story to share. Even when we asked her a question, she would pull out a fascinating detailed answer that filled in so much more. She did her studies in the classics and her level of knowledge really shined. The stop also included some yummy gelato for each of us which was a nice way to cap the last bit of the tour. And she went clearly above and beyond, our tour lasting closer to 3 hours than the 2 hours and 15 minutes listed (although I'm sure if we were in more of a rush she would have accommodated). Some of the extra time came from allowing some extended breaks so the kids could use the bathroom. All in all, I would give this tour the highest recommendation.
