Excellent tour and Excellent Guide

This was a favorite experience and one we will repeat on our next visit to Rome! Our guide shared his knowledge about the basilica’s and the history of Christianity through the ages. Seeing the basilicas, the important works of art, sharing information about the Apostle’s and Pope’s, our guide made the most with our timeframe. He escorted us through the pilgrimage experience for the Jubilee at the Vatican and carried the cross for us to finish our pilgrimage prayers when the group we joined chose not to finish. Our small group prayed the final prayers together on the pilgrimage.. it was an extraordinary experience made more meaningful because our guide made sure we learned and enjoyed the tour. This tour was my favorite and will be on my list to repeat when I return to Rome!

Our tour guide had a thick accent and he kept not speaking into his mic so it was very hard to understand him. I missed lots of information because of this. This tour was suppose to include the holy door and it did not. He didn’t mention it and someone asked about it and he said he would show us but never did. Would not recommend and I am very disappointed in this tour and overpaid for it since it was only a basic tour with a guide I couldn’t understand.
