The meeting instructions are flawed. You must go inside the store at the address and talk to the guy behind the counter. We waited outside the store and also messaged that we had arrived. There was no response and we ended up having to run to not miss the tour. The tour itself is $40 a person and this charges tour way to much. Thianiabthebfiratybad experience we have had using viator. I do not suggest using this service/ tour.

i think you want us to look for you in Amazon right ? when we have provide our office address and there are someone inside to make your check in whats the reason you were looking that from outside ? is there were a gunman you got scared ? and you have booked a tour which includes a lots of service do you expect with 40 euro tickets in hand to have a free tour and we give you guide and all that service to skip the line for free ? dont blame others for your own fault

Great information, lots of walking

Lots of walking. The elderly won’t enjoy all the steps or long walks. Alex the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

This tour is a must do while in Rome. Our original appointment for the morning had to be rescheduled for the afternoon because the new pope wanted to acknowledge and celebrate the employees of the Vatican. All tours prior to 1 PM were canceled. So, we had to reschedule for a later time. It was extremely, crowded and chaotic and very difficult to hear and understand our tour guide. It felt very rushed and stressful. I do not believe this was the fault of the company. It just happened to be the circumstances for the day that we were visiting.

Great Tour, with St Peter’s Basilica as a Surprise!

We originally booked another tour, but this was around the time of the new pope selection so the Vatican had been closing making it difficult to enter, but they were able to accommodate us into the Vatican, Square, and even into St Peter’s Basilica which was not originally included on our tour! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and tall which made it easier to stay together given how crowded it was with the influx of tourists. Would highly recommend

Madness, and disorganized. Very messy check-in process, we started the tour late. The headsets were awful and I had a hard time understanding the guide. While I know she was trying her best, there was no way to even ask questions because she just went from area to area sharing history. It’s not very tailored, and I felt expensive for what we experienced. The best part was just skipping the line. The rest was pretty mediocre and I felt very fatigued afterwards.

why dont you book a private tour if you have a lot of requirement and questions ? and after having tour and skip the line service when no entry tickets are available on site do you expect same price you suppose to pay with line ? and headsets are owned by the vatican using more leas 10 thousand people in a day so particularly if you still have problems with them you should make a complaint to the vatican as no one can use headsets from outside and finally i think you were never tried to remain close to the guide or group so normal

The summer lines are challenging but having the guided tour makes it worth doing. There’s no way to get through without getting overwhelmed with the overcrowded galleries. Go off season or go with a guide.

The tour started on time, it saved all the waiting to get in and buy tickets. The time of year, sept is very busy. The vatican was extremely full of people and this took away from the experience but that is not the fault of the tour. The guide was friendly. I was here before so i know the we did not see all the art, in fact we skipped a lot of the best paintings. Its an amazing collection but too many people.. the tour took the stress out of the visit by organizing everything.

Just the right amount of information with free time. Very knowledgeable guide. Great experience! Skip the line worked really well and saved a lot of time. Only downside was they cancelled the tour last minute and offered us an earlier tour so was a bit of a rush.

Worth skipping the line to get into St. Peter's Basicilica but not worth the crowds at the Vatican Museum.

St. Peter's Basilica and square were beautiful. Equally memorable were the long-lines where you were unable to move, breathe or stay with your group at the Vatican museum. the tour also had far too much time on the art vs. the history, the popes, Catholicism, etc. I saw far too many old relics, jars, etc. that were the same. the main treasures were amazing, the secondary items and the quantity of them was far too much.

It didn't start well as it was a busy day and we were delayed by an hour. However, when it started it was great. Our tour guide (a Russian lady with excellent English, Lydia?) was extremely knowledgeable about Vatican, Rome and the overall history. She knew all the tricks how to make the most of your tour and managed to get us into the Sixtine Chapel pretty quickly. I truly recommend her as a guide. It was an amazing experience.

The sites, themselves, are the experience. One doesn’t need a guide as I did not have one when I saw the Colosseum and Roman Forum years ago but it is interesting to learn more as you walk through. HOWEVER!! Our tour guide, Luneta (Elena) Ignat is so knowledgeable that she unfortunately speaks very quickly and almost droned on & on with facts that it was difficult to keep up/understand so she lost some of us earlier than the experience ended. We were “done” listening to the incessant sound in our ear - it became like a hum. I asked her two questions during the 2 1/2 hours and it was difficult to try and get a word in to ask her in the first place. She is adorable, though!

You could spend days in the Vatican going through the history and displays. Absolutely beautiful. And the Sistine Chapel - wow. Although a bit crowded, it is worth the time.
